Great friendly customer service. We were able to check in late after a big day of driving, a clean well presented room was a blessing. Value for money was great. $100 for accom near the highway and all facilities means it was perfect for travellers. Very happy and would stay again for certain.

We stayed at this motel as the location was good for the purpose of visiting relatives, the service was friendly but facilities Need a refresh as motel is old . It's close to shops and hospital and close to main hwy with a bit of noise.

We stayed here for 1 night on the way from Sydney to Brisbane and were charged $100 per night as it was main season. However, this price is absolutely not justified and the value delivered was very low. In room: - only 1 out of 3 lights was working - air conditioning was extremely loud - fridge was broken Outside:... More

Pros : Nice and clean room. Good flat screen Tv . Good shower. Big supermarket straight across the road. 10 min walk to Macksville Pub which is very nice and has good food. Cons : No cutlery ! No glasses. No microwave . Bed was very hard . Probably $10-15 more than I would have liked to pay considering these... More

This motel in it's heyday would have been more than suitable, but now with the massive increase in road trucks continually rolling past the highway out the front, forget it. It's out dated with very little on going maintenance being carried out ie, roof leaking onto ceiling in some rooms creating a very musty smell and the filter in the... More

There's no pleasing everybody. The review by JustOneThing was rather cynical & misdirected, (misguided or misleading?) He nit-picked everything. He's also from Sydney so I don't know what he was expecting. It's hard to please 'those sorts.' The Midcoast Motel - situated across from the Macksville hospital - is a hidden little gem which has retained that old 80's retro... More

In it's heyday this would have been a reasonable place to stay half way from Sydney to Brisbane... a standard motel with the usual facilities, albeit close to the highway with the constant noise of trucks day and night. Sadly it is now falling apart through lack of maintenance and it seems the owners have lost interest. When we turned... More

We got this motel through the Nambucca Heads tourism Association. The Manager was very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were basic but clean, and they are in the process of updating the pool and spa area which will be good in the future.when it's finished. I did get to go into the spa & enjoyed a bit of relaxation. the one... More
