on way back to Sydney over Christmas period. $110 for a room with 3 beds is quite cheap but you get what you pay for. rooms and grounds are in need of some serious TLC. kids wanted to go for a swim in pool which was full of algae and green slime. The wooden flooring around pool should have been... More

We were overnighting as we drove from Sydney to Noosa. I'd forgotten about accommodation and called the Nambucca Heads Info Center. They connected us with Mid Coast Motels in Macksville and it was perfect for what we needed. No grumpiness when traffic had us arriving at 10pm not 9.30. Room was spacious for a family of four with a good... More

We stayed here overnight on our way through to Brisbane from Sydney. The property was easy enough to find, just off the highway as you approach town. It is just across the road from Woolworths too, which was an unexpected bonus for us. Overall our room was spacious and we slept fine. It was not visually pleasing to the modern... More

Stayed with a number of colleagues for four nights. They have us a weekly rate which brought it down to reasonable nightly rate of 75.00. Wouldn't want to pay any more but ok value at this. Coukd pay more attention to cleaning and little things like replenishing soap. Need to smarten it up soon but overall ok at that price... More

Great friendly customer service. We were able to check in late after a big day of driving, a clean well presented room was a blessing. Value for money was great. $100 for accom near the highway and all facilities means it was perfect for travellers. Very happy and would stay again for certain.

We stayed at this motel as the location was good for the purpose of visiting relatives, the service was friendly but facilities Need a refresh as motel is old . It's close to shops and hospital and close to main hwy with a bit of noise.

We stayed here for 1 night on the way from Sydney to Brisbane and were charged $100 per night as it was main season. However, this price is absolutely not justified and the value delivered was very low. In room: - only 1 out of 3 lights was working - air conditioning was extremely loud - fridge was broken Outside:... More

Pros : Nice and clean room. Good flat screen Tv . Good shower. Big supermarket straight across the road. 10 min walk to Macksville Pub which is very nice and has good food. Cons : No cutlery ! No glasses. No microwave . Bed was very hard . Probably $10-15 more than I would have liked to pay considering these... More

This motel in it's heyday would have been more than suitable, but now with the massive increase in road trucks continually rolling past the highway out the front, forget it. It's out dated with very little on going maintenance being carried out ie, roof leaking onto ceiling in some rooms creating a very musty smell and the filter in the... More
