Cheerful Pinetrees staff collected us at the small airport and took us on a short tour of part of the island as an introduction. Our room wasn't luxurious, but comfortable and clean, with a porch over-looking pleasant gardens. The rooms furniture and fittings were all that we required to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Meals were varied and plentiful.... More

Pinetrees is the ultimate place for relaxation. Top quality meals 4 times a day (lunch can be a delivered bbq anywhere on the island) . Sunsets over the lagoon and a drink every evening at the boat shed. Lovely friendly staff who seem to want you to enjoy everything that Lord Howe Island has to offer.

What can I say? Fabulous!!! The room we had was motel style-clean, very private and opening out front and back onto green lawns and gardens. The food was excellent, the staff ever-friendly and helpful. The surrounds were immaculately kept and clean and the boat shed was an idyllic place to watch the sunsets with friends and a cold one. Activities... More

We had the best stay at Pinetrees lodge of any holidays. They provided excellent service for dinner lunch and tea all of which were tasty and well presented, Staff were helpful and friendly. Want a lift to the golf course or a picnic lunch? Nothing was too much trouble. Just like the fact there was an honesty bar at the... More

We loved Pinetrees and Lord Howe. Just what you need to recharge your batteries and truly escape the modern world. Love the fact that the meals are all there and so delicious and that we could have BBQ or picnics, all food delivered and picked up by Pinetrees, at secluded spots where all you could see was the beautiful view.... We are regulars here and love every minute. Great accommodation. Fabulous food. A magnificent setting. Always like coming home to family but all needs catered for. Whatever you like to do you can do it best on Lord Howe and staying at Pinetrees.

This holiday was exactly what we were looking for. There is no phone reception, no tv, no car, and you don't miss any of it. We travelled as a family of five, with a 1yr, 4yr and 5yr, the weather was early winter but it didn't hold us back from exploring every day. The beauty of the island is that... More

Lord Howe island is a place to decompress from the tensions of modern day life. No cell, no internet, very few cars and a policeman that tried to give me a ticket for not wearing e helmet on the old fashioned bicycle supplied by the hotel. Pinetrees lodge fits in well. Nothing fancy, plentiful food and friendly service. Cost needs... More
