This trip to Lord Howe Island was a surprise for me. The island is small and exclusive -- all the resorts are small. Arajilla appeared to be the best resort on the island. We were picked up at the small airstrip by the owner of Arajilla, Bill. He gave us a personal tour of the island and then took us... More

Upon arrival we were greeted at the airport by the owner, Bill, of Arajilla! That was special! He gave us a tour before taking us to the resort, Arajilla. Our room was fabulous, we were greeted with a refreshing drink and Abbey took so much time explaining to us all the many activities, etc. The entire staff knew us by... More

I can't say enough good things about this Arajilla and the land of paradise it is located in! We were treated with first class service as soon as we stepped foot off of the plane. Bill (the owner) greeted us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour around the island. Then we were greeted by some of the most... More

Lord Howie Island is a little piece of paradise and we would love to go back. The Arajilla staff goes the extra mile to be helpful and friendly. Meals are very well prepared and delicious. We went on a picnic that they prepared for us that was amazing and a wonderful memory. It is not a bargain but the experience... More

Me and my wife visited Lord Howe Island for our honeymoon and we wanted to do it in style. So we chose the two best rated hotels on the Island. We stayed at Arajilla and Capella. We stayed at Arajilla first and then moved to Capella and thank god we did that because Arajilla did not live up to our... More

this was return visit and i can see why Arajilla has a loyal following. This time was exteneed family so we had an ArajillaSuite and put the oldies in a Kentia. Rooms: Plenty of space in the Arajilla and 2 bathrooms was a great option (we did 2 Banyans last year and the up down config was an issue for... More

We needed a quiet break and Arajilla fulfilled all expectations. Lord Howe is not cheap, but Arajilla was great value. Very comfortable accommodation, great food and wonderful, helpful staff. All meals, bikes, snorkelling gear included. We stayed in a suite. The extra space well worth while. A great place to chill out, cycle and snorkel. It is also seconds from the... More

This time we took my elderly mother to Lord Howe Island, so location and quality of accommodation were paramount. Our choice of Arajilla could not have been better. Just a brief stroll to Settlement Beach, with picturesque views of the mountains to the south plus the possibility of a close encounter with a green turtle. The centre of town (a... More

This was our third visit to Lord Howe Island and our second stay at Arajilla (it wasn't there the first time). We love Lord Howe and Arajilla. Although there are only 2 of us, we have stayed in an Arajilla Suite both times as we like the extra space ! The standard of accommodation is very high. The rooms are... More
