My husband and adult daughter and I shared a studio for a week, and whilst a bit cramped with 3 people, the room was spacious enough for light cooking, with a small table, an electric fry pan, a microwave, toaster and refrigerator (and there is a grill on the grounds, so you can cook fresh fish easily). The room was... More

We stayed for five nights in December. We were met at the Airport and given a guide to the Island on our way to the Lodge. The rooms were clean and the serviced daily. Blue Lagoon is ideally appointed, close to the general store, some great restaurants, the beach and the activities. A great additional service is offered each night... More

Stayed for 7 nights in a one Bedroom unit in November 2013. Room was clean and very comfortable, with adequate facilities including a microwave, toaster, electric fry pan and all necessary cutlery and cooking utensils, and with a covered BBQ just outside, eating in was a realistic and simple exercise. We ate in on 3 of the 7 nights. Coffee... More

Definitely the best location on this paradise. Short walk to Thompson's store , the Co Op ,the Anchorage Restaurant/ cafe and the lagoon.. Short bike ride or easy stroll to Ned's beach and the start point for the Malibar / Kym's lookout look out walk. The Rooms were perfect for this style of holiday. Welcoming flowers decorate the room ,... More

For me, this is the best location on Lord Howe...closest to the Anchorage for food, shortest walk to the dive operator... Our room was, as a lot of places on Lord Howe, sort of nice simple 1950's. The people (as just about every other place on the island) has wonderful people working there. Beds were ok, shower water pressure varied... More

We were guided by other reviews of this accommodation and we were not disappointed. The room was well supplied with mod cons if we wanted to cook inside and as we were there during cyclone Sandra, we did cook 1 meal inside instead of on the Bbq near our room. The gardens were immaculately tended daily and the owners kept... More

Stayed here during our recent visit to this marvellous island. Blue Lagoon Lodge is centrally located to the little main street of the island, and walking distance to a variety of beaches and attractions. The rooms were simple but clean and well laid out, and the staff are friendly and ready to lend a hand. The lodge hires bikes to... More

Just spend 7 nights here in February. What a great spot. I chose this place on reviews and on price, as we really only wanted a bed and shower. The rooms are surrounded by lush tropical gardens. we had a studio unit which was fine. Queen + single bed. Microwave, sink, fridge, jug. no stove top. there are bbq in... More

Our studio unit had everything we needed for the week and was spotlessly clean. Great location, close to the Lagoon and an easy walk to Ned's Beach. Also close to Thomson's store and to the free phone for restaurant bookings, etc. You can also hire bikes at the Blue Lagoon. The 'transit lounge' very handy when waiting to go to... More

Blue Lagoon is the most central yet quiet location on the island. Screened by ferns with plenty of birds around we found everything we wanted available and close by. Could not do better than to book a week here. Five days is not enough to create the value after the cost of the air fare.
