We recently had a week at Milky Way Villas. The location is great, very close to the Lagoon, bushwalks and a short cycle into town. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pantry supplies were a very welcome starter pack. The one bedroom villa had plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen and a large walk in robe.

This was our first visit to Lord Howe and we chose the Milky Way for it's location, close to the beach and a short walk to the town centre. We were booked for a villa but were up-graded to one of the bungalows which offered a spacious lounge/dining area and a well equipped kitchen. The fridge was stocked with items... More

We had originally booked to stay at other accommodation on Lord Howe, but at the last minute tried to change to Milky Way and we are so pleased we did. Wonderful hosts (Andrea and her daughter) nothing too much trouble. Checked each morning to see if we needed anything to help make our stay more comfortable or memorable. Drove their... More

We are very regular visitors to Lord Howe and over the last 11 years we have tried many of the accommodation options on Lord Howe but Milky Way is always our accommodation of choice. It is fabulously located , the units while not new are comfortable, well maintained, scrupulously clean and well equipped and we have always found the staff... More

We have stayed at Milky Way several times now (and other accommodation) and Milky Way is still the best for location, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. The hosts of Milky Way are always helpful and go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly especially Andrea and Josette!! We would highly recommend Milky Way.

It is hard to say where the best location to be based on the Island is,but after a weeks riding, walking ,snorkeling, diving ,fish feeding and eating ,I think Milky Way stacks up pretty good ,it is near a great beach (Old settlement )for snorkeling ,swimming with turtles etc.It is a 3 minute ride or 10min walk to town and dive... My husband and I stayed for a week in a one bedroom apartment. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We weren't expecting a resort as that was next door and expensive.Milky Way was perfect for the island.Laid back, friendly and I instantly felt I was home! We walked everywhere and soon discovered that many of the islands other accommodation options... More

Stayed at Milky Way Villas for six nights in a one bedroom villa. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff arranged dinner bookings and transport too. Very friendly and very welcoming staff. As the most northern most accommodation on the island, we found it accessible to everything (easiest by bicycle) yet quiet and private. Lord Howe... More

The one-bedroom unit was spacious and the walk-in wadrobe was handy, as was the thoughtful inclusion of a day pack for our use. The kitchen is more than adequate. Bring your own items such as oil, glad wrap, food etc. Mily Way is located a short bike ride away from the town area and a stone's throw from Old Settlement... More

We stayed in villa 1 recently for our honeymoon and loved our stay. The room was sizeable and had kitchen facilities so we could cook at home if we wanted. The villas are located across the road from a picture perfect beach (old settlement) where you can snorkel with turtles and swim over the reef. The villas are an easy... More
