Amazingly friendly staff and the cabins were in good condition and were very comfortable during our stay. Pet Friendly too! A great place to crash after a day of fosssicking! I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

Great position very easy to walk to the shops. The manager of the park was exceptionally friendly and very helpful on any information needed. The amenities are in need of a update but we're kept very clean throughout our entire stay (5 nights) . If I had to put a negative on this park it would be that the managers... More

Cabins are really worn out and badly need a freshen up. The two staffy dogs roaming around are very concerning. Brooke the manager however is very helpful. Is close to the aquatic centre, IGA and Gallery.

Our stay in this park will be memorable for the lazy manager. Does little or no work during the day and he sits by the campfire and night with his useless dogs. Like other reviews these animals should not be running free as most travellers do not like them and feel very uncomfortable with them. The park facilities are very... More

Great position in town near all shops etc. The evening get together around the fire is great and a nice touch. The toilet blocks are in great need of an overhaul, and the manager needs help to get all the days chores done. The office looks like a bomb has just gone off and the dog crap all over the... More

Stayed 3 nights at this park and can only recommend the true country welcome we received. Although the facilities are a bit tired the management and location makes the stay worth while. Lightning Ridge is a must for any traveller wanting to feel true Aussie hospitality. Every night we sat around a central camp fire and swapped storeys with other... More

Referred by Pat from Tourist info was perfect location right in town. What a pleasant surprise to have a nice grass site for our tents, in the outback where there is no rain. Our hosts Jade, Brooke and their lovely children made us very welcome helped book tours were always around if we needed advice. We loved our stay in... More

The good thing is that from this park you can walk to all the shops and eateries in Lightning Ridge. The manager is friendly and appears to be doing her best but with a young family, an absent husband and off leash dogs her best is probably not quite good enough. The bad is that when I entered the office... More

We had our own van... Managers had their dogs running around loose with bones.. So we couldn't have our dog outside ( on a lead ) Also a concern with small children about. Toilets/showers were not cleaned, rubbish just left all around the area. Pay the extra and go to the opal...

Oh dear. I read the reviews for the nearby Lightning Ridge Outback Resort and Caravan Park then inadvertently booked and paid for a cabin here for two nights. To be fair, I think they are new owners and are probably trying to bring the place up to standard but the place has a long way to go. Our cabin was... More
