We have stayed at Lake Ainsworth on a number of occasions in our van and it is always a pleasure to drive in. It is a Large park situated across the road from the surf club and a fantastic beach with the best modern and clean amenities that are all close to most sites. The small township covers most of... We recently spent two nights in a self contained ensuite cabin. Although the cabins aren't huge, they had everything you could ask for. Infact, probably the best equipped park cabin we have stayed in. Office staff were lovely on check in, cabin was nice and clean and generous amount of provisions to get you a started. Great beach on one... More

Great area , top beach breaks for surfing. Powered tent sites large witch is a bonus . Just keep your garage bins protected and food storage containers closed if your up the back of complex adjacent bush because there are bush turkeys chasing a quick feed. They mainly hang around early morning when your still in bed. There had been... More

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Yes, the Bush Turkeys are rather curious at times. The joys of the local wildlife! If you are really lucky, you get to see a few resident Echidna and Water Dragons who scamper around as well, though they are not as confident as... More

Stayed in a basic cabin at $95 a night, had to share the amenities but that was not bad. The room had a double bed, bunk beds, fridge, freezer, cooking area and utensils. And like a hotel room, coffee, tea, linen, milk all supplied, oh and bikkies and smellies. There was foxtel and free wifi. The park is walking distance... More

I'm new to the North Coast Holiday Park chain but having had another favourable experience, these won't be my last. Lake Ainsworth is a large park but good management and a willingness to make everyone feel like all of the service for the day is directed to them has a way of making it still seem like family. The amenities... More

Staff friendly and efficient. Happy to allow change of site location. Facilities modern and well maintained. Position good right on lake and close to beach. Beware public access available from lake area. No play facilities for children. Some sites small. Still good value for price.

Booking the site was very straightforward & efficient - with quick response to my email enquiry. Check in easy. We camped in a tent on a non-powered site T61. This end of the camp ground is amongst trees and is quiet and some shade is available from the trees on some of the sites. Fairly new amenities block & camp... More

We stayed in the cabin accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Great selection of activities to do, we participated in kaiaking, climbing and archery. The site was a 2 minute walk straight onto a unspoilt beach. There were barbecue facilities and a area to make a open fire. Great place for families with younger children.

Great camping park, close to beach and lake, some great restaurants down the street - walking distance. Good size level caravan sites. Secure amenities, regularly cleaned. Take care and secure goods, public can walk in. But you are warned by the park. Will be visiting again.
