The room was clean and average size. The bed was comfortable and had good quality sheets, Large usable towels were supplied. The view was excellent and the location was close to the main street and Blow Hole (main attraction). Overall a nice place to stay.

I recently booked for a three night stay at this motel and certainly would recommend it ONLY on its location . Great! As for cleanliness - if you can live with windowsill covered in black mould,, dusty surfaces and the lack of floor cleaning over the three days, then, good luck to you. Next consideration Service - very poor. After... More

The location is great - beach views, the sound of crashing surf and very close to town and to Kiama Station. Yes the motel is a little aged, and not perfect, but my room is pretty ok. I forked out extra for a balcony room, which is recommended. The carpet is new, king size bed is comfy and sheets and... More

I Recently stayed over at this establishment and found it very disappointing.our room overlooked an on going renovation site within the perimeters of the motel.. Consequently our much hoped for quiet retreat was both noisy and closely monitored by workmen .. It was impossible to enjoy the balcony views to the ocean as the deafening noises from machinery were unrelenting.... More

Three of us stayed here for three nights recently. The location is good, with cafés and shops just round the corner and close to Blowhole, lighthouse etc. Very basic and somewhat rundown looking. In need of a good refurbishment. Cleaners are obviously pretty slack. Very lacking in any sort of ambience. Not even a picture on the walls. Microwave, toaster... More

Because we made a late decision to have a short escape from Sydney for the Australia Day long weekend, this was the only accommodation we could find. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location is great with views of the beach and easy walk to everything in Kiama. The rooms are very basic and could do with... More

Attending a wedding we made the mistake of making a late booking. However at $175.00 for the night we foolishly expected the room to have all conveniences. The bedroom area was clean and acceptable, however the bathroom had to be seen to be believed. The shower unit appeared to have been installed by a handyman, was plastic, with a shower... More

My partner & I have just stayed here for the weekend, wasn't great, dated bathrooms, one very flat pillow per person but for the price we initially thought it was ok.. Checked out, 2 hours later received a voicemail on our mobile saying that they had found a USED NEEDLE in the sink, asking about their cleaners safety & that... More

For the price you pay, the fantastic view, and the position close to shops and cafe's, the Kiama Cove Motel was a great find. The rooms, although older in style, were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and happy to answer all our questions. We didn't have a problem with noise from other rooms, so can't complain about that... More

The location was perfect for me as I was attending a function at The Pavillion which is virtually next door. I stayed on the top floor with lovely views from the room. The bed is huge and comfy and the rooms are fine. I would definitely stay on the top floor to avoid hearing guests in the room above you.... More
