Stayed here for one night on a last minute decision to stop overnight in Kiama. It has all you need. It is definitely a budget option. Rooms are small, clean and have the basics. Bathroom and linen were fresh and well maintained. Not much road noise but a bit of noise travels from neighbouring rooms. A good budget choice for... More

We had a last minute overnight stop in Kiama and were really happy with this motel. Our room was refurbished- the linen and bedspread were like new and it had a near new bathroom. Everything was very clean as well. Our room included microwave, kettle & toaster, room was air conditioned as well, you can also go for a dip... More

Needed an overnight stopover, preferably self contained but took this one. $100 was plenty to pay for a very small room (number 2). No sink or cooking facilities, just the kettle, toaster and fridge. It was well equipped in other respects and appeared to have a new bathroom, late model proper inverter split system heat pump. Plenty of power points.... More

Coming into Kiama I was wondering where all the hotels had got to. Then I spotted this. I was too tired to check any other hotels out so we decided to go with this one. The price was not too bad for the two of us. The room was clean and cosy. the heating system worked well. There was the... More

Having read a couple of other reviews, I must have missed out on the refurbed rooms as my bathroom was small & rather old apart from the vanity. The shower was old but good pressure. The bed was OK but not all that comfortable & the TV very small. The guy at check in was also totally disinterested. No option... More

We booked this hotel online via another website before driving from Sydney. Room is clean and decent for short stay. To my suprise, the toilet is so clean and new and I had a great shower that night. p.s.: you definately need a car to stay here - a quick drive 2-3 minutes is enough to reach the Kiama town... More

Stayed here on our road trip. Rooms were clean, modern enough and reasonably priced. While the building looks a bit dated (don't let the blue exterior discourage you) the inside was great with a newly refurbed bathroom and wonderful hot shower. Good value for money. Pretty good location with restarants, cafes and coffee shops close by. I guess the only... More

I was really pleased with our choice to stay here. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and helpful, the place was clean and spacious and the bathroom was amazing! Seemed brand new. The price was really reasonable for what you received in return. The room set up seemed more like a good quality hotel. We had a... More

We only had to stay here for one night and it was surprisingly clean and big enough for us and our 2 kids. It is close to everything that we needed and the staff were very friendly. Great value for money!

Motel 617 Kiama is your average overnight place to stay. I could say it was OK if not for the view outside the door....well...out the door and down the road a bit. The motel is a 5 minute walk from Surf Beach Kiama. THIS is a beautiful beach and made staying at the motel a pleasure and a must in... More
