Where do I start, the the coffee cups still had coffee dribble down them from the last guests so I went to the restuarant for clean ones and they had yesterday's toast stuck on them , ants all throughout the room ,front door broken ,as for the dinners disgusting , I was not brave enough to front up for breakfast... The room was clean and neatly presented. The WiFi did not work and if you are not with Telstra you will have no mobile reception at this venue. Not far from the Jamberoo park or from Wollongong. The management or reception staff do need to improve their customer service for a resort. For example, it would be handy to have... More

A group of 10 of us stayed for two nights, a mixed group of adults and children. Reception provided an efficient service on booking in. The rooms appeared well kept however on closer inspection there was a fair amount of dust/dirt under beds and desks and sliding doors to balcony did not open without significant effort. Breakfast was suffice however... More

Stayed there with my husband and we were given twin beds in our room and manager wouldn't change it. He was totally rude to customers on the phone and swore in front of us. The place is poorly run and needs a lot of work, although the rooms are quite ok. The 'restaurant' is fairly poor and reminded us of... More

This so called resort is more like a one and a half star motel really the only good points of this place is the pool which was only clean the first day we got there and the kids play equipment. My problems with this hotel started before I even got to there because the workers especially the manager have a... More

As a Day Tour visit with an assembly of regular customers and staff of Stuarts Coaches, this was a lovely destination to celebrate a festive Christmas lunch. The Lodge dressed their dining hall to the nines (well done!), featured an acoustic guitar singer to serenade guests (with favourites besides Christmas ditties), and served up a nice combination of table service... TRAVELLERS BEWARE!! SOUTH COAST'S OWN FAWLTY TOWERS. (Now named the Jamberoo Resort) Unfortunately the BBQ and pool area were taken over by a group of men, partying with extremely loud music until the police were called at 12pm with noise complaints. Police said that a number of guests had called with the same complaint. The hotel staff did not answer... More

The positives are that the rooms are clean, ive had many issues with hot water for the showers in many places, nil issues here, there is extra toilet paper under the sink and even a scale. Wifi initially doesn't work but it had no problems after a little while. Not far from Jamberoo water park and Kiama is a short... More

Not a good experience for us but I'll try to be objective. Pros: Beautiful setting, renovated rooms were reasonable budget motel standard. Sheets and towels clean, floors clean. Bathroom passable. Cons: absence of basic expectations: No iron/board in room, no hair dryer, no guest information folder, no spare pillows or blankets. Sheets clean but not pressed. Communication a real issue:... The surrounds were beautiful. First impressions were a little 'faulty towers' like at the reception with the manager arguing about room placement to the lady at the desk. It made my partner and I feel a little awkward standing there while they debated among themselves. Beyond that we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are basic, however a good standard, comfy beds.... More
