when my partner and I got to our room we had only just sat on the bed to discover it was rock hard (would be like sleeping on the floor). We also discovered that they had even put a honeycomb foam layer as a poor attempt to 'fix' this issue (which to me screams regular complaints). When we spoke to... More

This place has potential but sadly I was disappointed, It should not be called a resort. Jamberoo Valley Lodge is much better suited name, I don't know how they got there 4/5 star ratingfor starters ... The new owners have tried to fix up the place you can definately see that however the small things are what matters most. --... More

You have to bear in mind that this place is a 'work in progress'. It was obviously very run down and dated, but according to one staff member, the property was sold around 2012 and closed until late 2014 for renovations. The new owners seem keen to spend some dollars and modernise the facilities. The rooms have been updated with... More

Jamberoo Resort , they really should of kept the old name Jamberoo Valley Lodge . I read a review saying that the beds were as hard as a rock where as hard as a rock and I thought this was an exaggeration but the lady who wrote the review was not being dramatic. The beds were literally as hard as... More

What a neat little place nestled away at the bottom of the foot hills on Jamberro Mt road, rooms where very comfortable, tennis courts, bbq area, swimming pool, new play area for the children, breakfasts where good, though not impressed with the dinner meals, it lacked something? I must admit it was magnifcent NOT to have any internet or mobile... More

The refurbished resort (now known as the Jamberoo Resort) has a gorgeous huge pool, tennis court and plenty of children's play equipment. The rooms face the recreation facilities, so parents can enjoy their balcony or courtyard, while keeping an eye on the children. The generous bbq area helps guests to mingle, making it a sociable holiday. However, the wifi wasn't... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights just after Christmas. The room was newly renovated, but as we opened the cupboard to put in our luggage, the handle broke off. The vent cover in the bathroom was half hanging. Itโ€™s such a pity that those small things spoiled what was a nice, modern room. There were some indications that... More

We stayed there over Christmas Eve after spending the day at the Jamberoo Action Park. The place is lovely, with a gurgling brook that runs through one side of the property. The good: 1. Refurbished rooms and facilities. I've backread the horror stories for a number of travelers and boy did we come in at a good time. The rooms... More

Came here for the office Christmas party and were impressed with the place. The rooms were newly-renovated, spacious and clean. The beds are hard though but aside from this, all good. The lodge has wi-fi, tennis court, bbq area and swimming pool. Great place for the family ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜

Accidentally stumbled across Jamberoo resort when unable to book accommodation in Wollongong and I'm so glad that a couldn't. We were coming down for a Wedding in which our car was being used as one of the bridle cars. The staff went out of there way to organise a hose for us to wash the car which was extremely helpful....
