There's not a lot to say that hasn't been said before so I'll keep it short. The Jervis Bay area is glorious - wide-open spaces, sweet little towns and pristine beaches and forest. Steve and Kate's lovely laid-back house is situated a short walk from the town centre and they are the perfect hosts. The house and rooms are decorated... More

We decided to stay with Kate and Steve for a couple of nights at the end of our 3 week Sydney holiday, to get away from the city, and ended up extending for a third night. The town of Huskisson is an idyllic spot, perfect for families looking for safe beach days. It has an old fashioned, sleepy, laid back... More

If you're not bewitched by this beautifully restored weatherboard guesthouse; nor soothed by the blue crystal waters and white sands of Jervis Bay; and if Kate's bountiful charms don't put a smile on your face then you should take your hard heart off to a generic hotel in the Gold Coast or somewhere similar and give someone else the opportunity... Bedrooms are clean and white, decorated in a beachy style with quirky vintage furniture. The family suite is particularly good with a separate room for the children. Breakfasts are simple - fruit salad, yoghurt and toast, but accompanied by great coffee and it's lovely to sit on the terrace when the weather's up to it. Hosts are available but not... More

The reviews say it all. Huski b&b is a real gem. My wife and two sons (5 & 2.5 yrs) stayed here for three nights as part of our big trip from London (UK) to Terang in Victoria, for a family wedding. Jervis Bay was our first port of call after spending 5 days maxing out in Sydney. It was... More

Is it the location that makes a great getaway? Perhaps it's the people you meet there? Or is it the accommodation you stay in? It's possible that a getaway can be brilliant or ghastly because of any or all of these factors, don't you think? Well from the most sincere depths of my heart I am here to irrefutably say... More

This 1913 cottage has an effortless charm and relaxed ambience while still offering the compulsory indulgent luxuries of a renovated weekender (or in our case, a mid-week wedding anniversary escape). Hosts Kate and Stephen are friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. We felt very welcome in bringing our 4 month old daughter along and a cot was happily provided for her. In... More

The place to stay if you are looking for more personal touches and wish to be welcomed as if you were with family and not a B & B. The best "hotel" for very well behaved little dogs "like Cleo" that like other dogs and cats. Scrumptous breakfast and coffee Steve!!!! My husband and i have been 4 times with... More

Huskisson B & B was so relaxing to stay at. If you're looking for a special time to just hang out at home, but be away from home, this is the place to stay. Beautiful little town and quiet space to enjoy time out.

I went back home to Sydney last month and decided to spend a night at Huskisson with my mom and younger sister. My sister was actually the one who booked the place and she made an excellent choice. We just love the place so much. We got one of the bigger room since there were 3 of us- so it's... More
