The Church House B&B makes a wonderful change from motel accommodation. It is situated in a quiet suburban street only a short walk to main street Gundagai, local attractions and restaurants. Judy makes you welcome and there is everything available to meet you needs either for an overnight stop or a stay of several days. We were in room 1... More

Judy is a fantastic hostess. Easy walking distance to downtown district and nearby tourist sites, in a quaint, beautiful country setting. Three comfortable rooms, common lounge and dining areas, great service, beautiful view from the front looking across the valley. Fresh cooked breakfast every morning. Highly recommend. Easy on and off access to Hume Highway. Would definitely stay there again.

After reading the reviews for this B&B, we decided to stop here for one night on our way from Melbourne to Sydney. How wonderful it was to find that this establishment lives up to every positive thing written in Trip Adviser. Judy is very friendly, helpful and efficient. We had our breakfast on the deck at the front of the... More

Soooo loved this place best in town, so very clean and welcoming with port and chocies on arrival, a great lounge and use of full kitchen cannot say a bad thing owners are just lovely and walking distance to town we stayed in room 3 which is directly off the lounge but people seem to respect that when you go... The Church House B&B was a delight. Super clean, wonderful linen and towels, lovely living area and fully equipped kitchen loaded with supplies. The owners, Judy and Peter are a load of fun and really contributed to the enjoyment of our all to brief stay. Their suggestion of The Poets Recall for our evening meal was much appreciated and a... An unexpected delight on a stopover between Melbourne & Canberra. We had a good night's rest in a comfortable room. After dinner in town we watched 'The Thomas Crown Affair' on DVD. Kitchen & sitting room well equipped providing everything we needed. Prices reasonable. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We would definitely go back and recommend to travelling friends.

It is easy to agree with all other compliments for this establishment, easy to find, well designed and very comfortable internal arrangements, spotless condition, good airconditioning on the recent hot nights and a great place to site outside in the mornings and have a nice simple breakfast overlooking the town and surrounding countryside. The constant hum from the highway bypass... More

Hi Chris and Anne, Thankyou for your compliments on our B&B. It was so nice to have you book again on your way back home. Your heading is a great choice of words - this being one of our main attractions into Gundagai is that it's halfway as the saying goes. Hope to see you back again in the near... More

Definitely one of the best B & Bs we've stayed at - an old church tastefully renovated and decorated with 3 good-sized bedrooms with ensuites, a large common living area, very well equipped kitchen, laundry and outdoor areas. The owners (who live next door) have thought of every comfort and it was really obvious that a lot of love and... More

This is an outstanding B&B, run by a lovely person who really cares about her business. We stayed at Church House overnight with friends from the UK. We were looking for a quality B&B in an iconic Australian town and Church House more than measured up to our expectations. Care and close attention to detail (nothing has been overlooked) have...
