We had finished our trip the night before and were headed home to Sydney and stopped of in Gundagai chose the closest motel to the RSL and it was the lowest price we had paid on the trip so just expected a room with a bed. We got a well set out room with room to move excellent bathroom and... More

We turned up late on a rainy Saturday afternoon, got a cheery welcome and one of the last available rooms. A space was found to put our motorbikes under cover (sorry to anyone who wanted to use the barby) and the shower was beaut. The room was clean and well appointed, the beds were excellent and the whole lot clean... More

Stopped over on my way to Sydney. From the outside this place doesn't look like anything much but I was very suprised when I saw my room.. The room was modern with lovely decor , aircon and a lovely new bathroom. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was delicious and delivered at 7.45 on the dot. My only gripe was that... More

stopped over on the way north and was pleasantly surprised. Walking distance to Woolies and a few places to eat. The room was in great shape and the bathroom renovated. Service was super friendly and the rate was very reasonable.

Making my way down the Hume highway from Sydney to Melbourne I decided to make my overnight stop at Gundagai (4 and a bit hours drive from Sydney) because of the town's proximity to the highway (less than a kilometre). After passing a number of larger motels i stopped at the smaller Gundagai Motel at approx. 9pm on a Sunday... More

My husband and I stayed at Gundagai Motel for one night, as a stop-over on our way to Sydney from Melbourne. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff friendly and location was ideal. It was walking distance to a number of restaurants and a Woolworths supermarket. I couldn't not fault the good value basic accommodation. If you're looking... More

Everything you need for an overnight stay en route from Melbourne to Sydney. The Leagues Club is across the road for a meal and Woollies is next door to that. Room is clean, reasonable size, with basic bathroom. Off street parking. For the price it is excellent value. It is popular so I suggest that you book.

We stayed here for one night on the way from Melbourne to Sydney and booked online. What great value for money. The rooms are slightly small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom had been updated and a pleasure to use. To have a fridge is a luxury though there is no phone or clock and the TV is very small... More

Booked for one night on way through to Melbourne. Absolutely great value for money stopover - the checkin process was welcoming and simple - the room small but very clean with a queen bed that was absolutely confortable. The rooms were decked out well with some beautiful touches. A toaster was available so we made toast for brekky next morning... More

This was a surprise for a tiny country town. Very clean, tidy, modern, close to everything. The only small criticism I have is that if we wanted to use the microwave or toaster we had to ask for it to be delivered from the office. Other than that, no complaints.
