All you want from a 'country' motel is comfort and cleanliness. Big TV on the wall with some pay-to channels was a good inclusion. Comfortable beds although common walls with other rooms do allow some noise through from other guests. Swimmers will enjoy the outdoor pool on hit days.

Stopped for one night en route back to Victoria. The room was very large and spacious with a very large TV screen and a nice quiet reverse cycle aircon which warmed the room quickly and did not need to run all night long to keep the room cosy. I also discovered that the room came with a spa bath, which... More

wonderful place in one of the older rooms but well looked after, we will stay again... beds are comfy. we stayed in a family room, didn't use the spa bath as it was a bit noisy and we didn't want to annoy other guests..

Origin night and free wifi worked a treat , friendly and rooms tidy , although not sure how the family bookings are right down the back next to the road contractors , sounded like they enjoyed origin when they came home with thin walls and we inadvertently caught up on the night out through conversations next door , for what... Friendly and helpful staff! Room was very clean spacious. Big bathroom. We had the deluxe queen room with spa in the main building which was right next to the train line. Not the best room for light sleepers as the train is very noisy when it passes a few times per night. No Wifi was available in this part of... More

The Bagtown used to be THE place to stay in Griffith. Then it fell. Apparently it fell hard. However, it is now under new management who are passionate about restoring it to its former glory. The rooms are clean and a good size. The staff go over and above (running out towels to the pool in case you forgot them).... More

The room was huge and clean but the bed in our room was like sleeping on a board. Very uncomfortable and very hard to sleep on. The towels are thin and scratchy. Would do well to invest in new ones. Quiet and OK location but do need more comfortable beds.
