Booked into Hotel Gosford to break our trip home from camping for a week at Bluesfest. Hotel Gosford offered just what we needed - helpful staff, handy parking, good hot water, tasty food, and a very comfortable bed. Oh it looked good too and we loved the 1920's type lift.

Lovingly restored, squeaky clean, generous sized room, comfy bed, ceiling fan (very welcome as my window wouldn't open) quaint but noisy (if your room is opposite) lift, very clean share amenities. Serviced daily. Great roast dinner. Amazing value for money.

Comfortable & clean accommodation in a central location. Very good value for money. The hotel bistro has a real good menu. Only stayed the one night in order to attend a concert. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel had beautiful character yet the room had all the modern amenities. There was plenty of parking available. It is close to the train station and cafe's. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were able to print off my friend's festival ticket and when we returned at 11pm at night, we had forgotten where the after hours... More

Room dirty, not livable, no ventilation, construction works nightly and 4:30 am garbage trucks 7 days, so many things to say, you should take only one piece of experienced advise - LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!

The hotel has all the charm you would expect of a 1926 hotel, our young son loved the old elevator and the room was spacious and clean. All the staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly and we would definitely visit again.

Nice rooms, great for an overnight stay. We had the family room with private bathroom but the shared bathrooms looked adequate too. My partner loved the old style lift, he thought it was the best thing he's ever been in.

The room had smell of repairs and maintenance from the road below. While there was a fan, the room could have done with air conditioning. Had to sleep all night with door open as the hallway etc was much cooler. The food was very expensive for what was offered.

Hi rchandra Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am sorry if you thought there was a smell coming from the road below, but there isn't any road maintenance happening at the moment?? I do take on board that the rooms may need air conditioning on some occasions, but unfortunately without completely ruining the historical features... More

We stayed their one night and the room was clean. We had a shared bathroom which was across the hall, even though I had booked a room with a ensuite. Others staying had booked a room with a balcony but this also was not available.
