This is a nice old pub in the middle of Gosford. Its been recently renovated and painted and with new carpets. Fantastic beer garden down stairs with good pub food. Funky old elevator from the 20's. In the foyer. I found it quite but some reviews say the trains keep them awake but I had no problems.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks, few days in double bedroom en suite and few days in single room minus en suite. Both were good and comfortable. Hotel staff is quite friendly and the bar and restaurant, both are frequented by visitors as well as locals. Gourmet food, clearly showed the amount of love and care the chef... More

Travelled with my sister and our 82 year old mother, so being so close to the station was really good. We found the room comfortable, a little 'tired' and a bit cold, but not really a problem. The old lift was interesting, I was very upset when I dropped my bracelet down the gap in front of it, but thrilled to... Hotel Gosford is perfectly located for a night in at Gosford city. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable,,,,really loved the shower pressure (kind of important to us). Staff service was friendly and they have a great restaurant. The hotel retains its old charm and the old style elevator is part of the ambiance.

Convenient location if working in Gosford town centre. Very helpful service - I had some trouble with the reception on the TV in my room so they immediately organised another room. I didn't want to miss the Australia v Netherlands World Cup match.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Had a great time using the old fashioned elevator. Ate in restaurant 3 evenings and found the serving were delicious and large which suited my hungry son. The rooms were well serviced but I found they were very cold at night. Shower was lovely and hot with good pressure but the bathroom was slow to... More

Have stayed at this hotel for a few nights twice recently. Overall the staff are friendly ,and rooms are clean and adequate. My only concern is the service and inconsistent food served in the bistro.I have twice ordered a coffee at the bar to have with breakfast, was told to sit down and it would be brought over, but wait staff forgot.... We ended up in Gosford after a visit to The Blue Mountains, we were going to be heading up the coast starting the next day and so wanted to get a head start but didn't want to drive back to Sydney (and pay for parking!). Hotel Gosford was a decent stay. The room was adequate and had a nice shower.... More

We found the accommodation to be clean and comfortable in a typical hotel environment. The meals were good and reasonably priced. In the centre of town made for a good staging place. The only 'downer' was the placement of our ensuited room being immediately opposite the communal bathroom.
