Had a one night stay here in June. Room was huge & opened onto the massive balcony where one can sit with a cuppa & watch life go by in this little country town. Room was clean, staff were friendly, food downstairs was average & the chef's own music out-competed the dining area's music! What a place it must have... More

We were staying at Coffs Harbour and had a day trip to Dorrigo. The heritage hotel is a grand looking old building which caught our eye, so we decided to have lunch there. I had the parma and my wife had a cajun chicken burger. All I can say is good value for money, great pub lunch. I would recommend... More

We had a lovely stay at this traditional old country pub. The bistro food was amazing and the staff warm and friendly. Rooms in the hotel are spacious, comfortable and clean, most with either a window or door through to the gorgeous old balcony. BUT as with other travellers' reviews our booking was messed up. We booked directly through their... More

Whilst passing through Dorrigo my boyfriend and I stopped for lunch. There were 3 blackboards of choices starting from as little as $10. Being backpackers we chose the cheaper side of things. He chose the BBQ bacon and egg sandwich $10 whilst I chose the Cajun Chicken Burger $12. Both meals rapidly exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous Cajun chicken breast (not... More

Booked a much needed night away. The booking was made via hotel's own website and a reply confirmation was sent in return. Upon arrival on the bike, tired and saddle sore, we were told there wasn't a room booked for us. Nonchalance was the order of the day - I would advise ringing before you go just to make sure.

Travelling as a group of motorcyclists along the Waterfall Way we arrived hot and thirsty - we’re staying in a pub so the thirsts were satisfied promptly. The rooms whilst not air-conditioned were comfortable, and most rooms had access to the extensive veranda around the top floor of the hotel. My partner & I were fortunate enough to score the... More

Dorrigo, a pleasant town which is very convenient for the Rainforest Centre, has a very limited choice of accommodation. We were not sure what to expect when we booked a twin en suite room at Dorrigo Hotel Motel. The outside of this property looked somewhat run down, as were the corridors. However, while the furnishings in the rooms were old,... More

Where to start? This hotel looks like it belongs in the Wild West, dominating the crossroads of an archetypal one horse town (we know, we saw the horse). Faded grandeur probably best describes the place, which is massive and almost certainly a effort to keep going - but good on the family who still run it for trying! There's a... More

We stayed in the renovated part of this historic hotel. Our room was spacious and opened onto the wrap around balcony where you could sit and watch the world pass through the crossroads around the war memorial. We enjoyed reading the pamphlets about the hotel's past. A nice touch. The restoration was tastefully done and the room was comfortable. The... More
