Agree with Neil, far too expensive I paid $135 a night full amount a month in advance. I travel extensively in country/regional NSW for business and place is well under par. Shower screen frame rusty, door squeaked bed mattress far too old ended up with a sore back. Thin sheets and towel, dirty carpet and walls, spider webs poor lighting.... More

A budget rate of $135 for a basic double was more than it was worth. A 1970 or 1980s Spanish Style motel, large rooms, very basic decore, dark and dingy. Rooms were pretty clean, shower had black mould, air conditional was loud, usual kettle etc provided but sink too shallow to get water into the kettle. Grounds were basic and... More

We stayed in cabin accommodation for 5 nights between Christmas and New Year and found the air-conditioned cabin to be neat, clean and comfortable and had all amenities that you would expect. The onsite restaurant had excellent food from their menu. The motel staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. A swimming pool is... More

Stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights from Boxing Day with husband and teenage son. We booked last minute and couldnt believe we got something for this time of year. Now we know why. We paid top dollar and cabin was dirty. Blinds in bedroom were dirty and didnt close so had to get dressed with light off.... More

The negatives - The surrounds were a bit dilapidated, such as broken and faded signs, unweeded, uneven driveway. Dated decor, gloomy ground floor room. Old grey stained towels left a bad impression. A little rundown - broken shower tap (fixed myself), broken fridge icebox door, bathroom door warped and didn't close even when slamming shut. Rusty shower area. Smelled very... More

We stayed here on 29 July. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with large spacious room. The staff were helpful. It was the off peak winter season, so restaurant and breakfast rooms were closed. Lovely meals available at local eateries. Beautiful healthy breakfast at the Crescent Head Fruit shop - highly recommended.

Stay at the Med regularly. Rooms are always well presented and great value for money. 5 minute walk to Country Club and shops and the beach. Rooms are quiet & comfortable although a bit dated, you cant go past it for good night sleep

For a three star motel it ticks all the boxes. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and good nights sleep was had as in quiet location. Bathroom (although dated) was neat and clean, but could do with a freshen up with regards to the grouting in shower. Office staff friendly. Restaurant on site provided some nice Thai food (although... More

We arrived in Crescent Heads late on Saturday and found this Motel on the drive into town. We were warmly greeted and told about the Thai Restaurant onsite. We ate there that night and the food was good with some interesting items on the menu.It is a lovely walk to town and the beach beyond. The room was comfortable and... More
