We drove up on spec as a family of five and decided on a 2br family unit. This exceeded our expectations: the 2 rooms were very large, light-filled with floor to ceiling sliding windows, and very tastefully furnished with wood and leather-look furniture. In other words, elegant if not ultra-modern. The main bedroom had a queen bed, couch, table and... More

Great place to stay. Spa room was very big and nice. Staff very friendly. Pool area very clean. A must stay when in town. Everyone very friendly. Very close to local bowling club. Short walk to main street.:):)

As a couple we stayed here after travelling from Victoria. The room was well appointed, large and had a modern, minimal fit out. No DVD player, no mini bar, no art on the walls and only soap and shower cap in the bathroom. The bathroom was huge but dated and tired looking with the tiles needing mould treatment in places.... The family room we booked seemed good by the description on the web page - it far exceeded that. Two adults and three children easily fitted into the two bedrooms - one with a wonderfully comfortable queen bed, and the other with a queen and a single - plenty of room to move. Some fittings were a little dated but... More

All good, rooms clean, plenty of parking, receptionist very friendly. Like all rural motels 'Franco Cozzo' decor lives on. Motel close to town. Restaurant food average. Room price very reasonable. This motel would have to be the best in town. Recommend when in town to find the local butcher as they have the best meat pies. Love the footy oval,... More

The Acacia is well located in town, walking distance to many eating options as well as having their own in house restaurant. Breakfast is included in the price, available from 7am. The rooms are very spacious though are a little tired, maintenance is needed but that said it's very clean. The fridge in our room didn't work very well and... More

A clean motel with good service, offered complementary breakfast which was well utilised and appreciated. Spacious rooms, however some facilities are a little dated. Other than that, a quiet, convenient location.

I agree that this hotel has better than average decor compared to typical country motels. The room was large with good storage space and huge bathroom. The upgrade of rooms doesn't look that old but there is already some maintenance needed. It is close to everything and in easy walking distance of eating places. Free wifi and continental breakfast are... More

Visited the Coonabarabran observatory. Spent one night in this motel. Good quality rooms, price is reasonable. Can eat breakfast in the motel restaurant or you can take it back to your room. Had dinner at the Chinese restaurant next door.

Motor lodge composed of some distributed buildings as well as the main one. We had a room in a building across the road from the reception building which was a two bedroom suite. Rooms were large and clean with crisp sheets and an up-market décor (i.e. not the usual motel florals and patterned carpet). Bathroom with small bath and shower... More
