Stayed here for business after having a horror run in with an ibis hotel. Check in was fast and easy, the rooms were very clean and roomy. Really nice brand new bathroom fit out, good size TV and a comfortable bed. The cleaner was great and even put my drinks from the night before in the fridge while I was... More

The Maclin Lodge Motel is doing a lot of things right. The room we stayed in (a two bedroom apartment) was certainly large enough, with lots of storage and handy inclusions like a washing machine and dryer. There was even a private, fenced-in outdoor area, which was nice. But there are two fundamentals ANY kind of accommodation has to get... More

We booked here for one night on a long road trip following the fairly good reviews. We had a 2 bed unit in the "80's" block. The unit was a good size and very handy having washing machine and kitchen. Unfortunately, there was a really awful drain smell whenever you opened the laundry, same under the kitchen sink. Also, the... More

Was really surprised with this property, as a motel I didn't expect much but it is definitely the best motel style accommodation I have stayed in. I stayed in the executive room with my partner, plenty of room and a very generous sized bathroom. Close to shops, etc and the on-site restaurant serves some great dishes. Would definitely stay again.

Stopped here when driving from Cooma to Sydney. The family room is spacious and comfortable. Chinese restaurant on site a big help for food when you're exhausted from driving. Only complaint was bathroom is cold compared to the bedroom. Would be back in if the area.

Good value, clean family room, had all we needed for an overnight stop. Desk manager friendly and accommodating. Has a Chinese restaurant attached, which I would have loved to have tried if we had got there earlier in the day. Only real issue was that we arrived late in the evening, just after 9:30. We went back to the office... More

Check in was easy and friendly. The room had two double beds, tv, and quite a generous bathroom toilet and shower area. The place is a little aged and the flyscreens need replacement, but for the price and what it offered, it is certainly somewhere I would stay at again. It is located near shops and parking onsite is ample.... More

The room was clean and comfortable, could have been a little larger as there was 5 of us and we were tripping over each other and the table only sat two at a time. We stayed for 3 nights and we had to go begging for toilet paper (1 roll at a time) also they didn't replace towels unless we... More

The receptionist staff were friendly and helpful especially when we needed assistance with the air con. The room was overall clean, comfortable and modern. The only negative comment i have to say is that the fly screens needed replacing as they were a bit worn. Overall i was pleased.

Remember that this is a budget motel. Yes, the decor is dated but the pleasant reception staff, cleanliness of the room and bathroom, spaciousness of the room, no disturbance from traffic noise all contribute to a comfortable stay. The only really negative advice I would offer is that the doona is way overdue for a good clean.Food from the onsite... More
