I stayed there for 2 nights. Kitchen facility were alright and there are a few good spots for hanging out( within the hostel itself). The place was overall quite cozy and I would probably stay there if I wanted to stay longer in Byron Bay. And the bathrooms were quite clean! My bed was quite comfortable. great location, lovely staff!... More

I stayed in Byron Bay only two nights because I didn't really like this place. To me it is completely overrated - except the surf, of course! Byron Bay YHA is a nice hostel but you need to meet two requirements: 1) be und under 25 and 2) be in a party mood. Then you will find everything you need... More

I was provided with a warm welcome by the receptionist who was very knowledgeable about the local area and where I could go to eat as a vegetarian. She also informed me of the location of the coffee shops as I said how much I liked my coffee. The hostel was very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. They have... More

Pros: - Great location - Friendly staff - Clean rooms and bathrooms - The staff were helpful with booking activities. Cons: - The wifi was expensive. - The duvet cover was not clean - The rooms are very small I stayed here for 2 nights. Overall I would recommend this hostel. It was basic but clean.

Of course, you're staying at a backpacker inn, so you're going to get what you pay for. Saying that, my short stay has been average. The beds, toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained. Lots of kids party at night and they get really noisy until 11 in the evening. Afterwards it's gonna be quiet until they start shuffling back... More

There are two YHAs in Byron Bay. But it doesn't really matter if you get them mixed up as they are only a short walk from each other. The Byron Bay YHA has a fantastic location. You can walk everywhere - to the beach, shops, supermarkets, bars. Byron has a lovely small town feeling and it is a nice place... More

Byron bay is the most amazing place! Luckily our hostel made it even better. We stayed in a 4 bed female dorm it was really spacious and clean! Nice walk into the centre took about 10 minutes to get to the beach. It's very lively at night so it's easy to meet people but if you want a quiet night... More

Pros. Nice staff, convenient location, pool Cons. Endless noise. Came here to relax, it's just teens going nuts. 24/7. There is absolutely no peace and quiet whatsoever. Screaming, door slamming, breaking glass. Driving me nuts, Fans ineffective, Massively overpriced, No free wifi, Room not clean, Bed terrible Smelly drains, breakfast stale and overpriced. Everything is just a massive money making... More

We stopped in Byron Bay for one night. The hostel is located very well, just 300 meters from the city centre. The hostel is quite good for couples and solo travellers as well. The guy at the reception was really friendly and helpulf. If I come back in Byron, I will definitely spend my nights there!!!!
