Absolutely loved it here... beautiful and tranquil! Its a little out of byron bay (either bike, walk or hire a car!) but the peace here makes it worth it! Room is absolutely fine - by all means not a 5 star hotel, but good enough to feel comfortable and relaxed.

We stayed 4 nights here and had a very relaxing time, which was welcome after the busy earlier part of our holiday. The room was comfortable and had plenty of space for everything. Breakfast was plentiful and just what we usually like to have. weather was hot and we were able to eat it out on the deck in the... More

Planula is a wonderful retreat in a rainforest setting. It's very peaceful and comfortable so nice to get away from the mad Easter crowd in Byron. With only five guest rooms it's easy enough to enjoy the amenity in peace and quiet. Staying in a B&B was really good for the Blues Festival as we were able to swap notes... More

We chanced upon this unique B & B during a five day road trip north, staying midweek in a comfortable, clean, twin room. Didn't see any other guests and had the communal lounge and kitchen to ourselves. Wandy and Tim are charming and attentive hosts and the inclusive breakfast provided more than we could eat. The situation is one of... More

This is a review based on our experience dealing with the B&B when cancelling. We booked 2nights accommodation 3months in advance and unfortunately had to cancel within first 24hours. There is a cancellation policy of $70 from time of booking but Some resort owners are flexible with their policy or don't charge till after 24hours in their policy. From all... More

Sorry to hear you feel this way, despite you understanding all this when we talked on the phone and agreeing to the fee. Our cancellation policy is very clear on all booking agents sites and on our own website and again repeated on the booking confirmation. We hope you will have an enjoyable time in Byron Bay and if you... More

The owners of the property were quite helpful and pleasant as other reviewers have stated. Unfortunately your experience here will completely depend on who you are sharing the property with. It is a 5 bedroom house converted into a B&B with shared kitchen and outdoor space. We had a nice breakfast enjoying the homemade bread (but it's just breads and... More

We met Tim upon arrival at the reception and saw his diving photos all over the wall. After a friendly chat about diving at Byron Bay, he helped us to book a dive trip at the last minute and at a discount. We stayed at a room outside on the ground floor (next to the main house). The room was... More

We stayed 3 nights and found the rooms to be very clean and quiet, we had the queen room with spa which over looked the natural bushland setting. Breakfast was lovely with good selection of breads and homemade muffins, Kitchen facilities were great with a wide selection of tea and coffee available 24/7. Wandy and Tim were very welcoming and... We stayed here with my partner at the weekend and it was exactly as described; serine, beautiful setting in the trees, just 3km out the town. YOU NEED A CAR to enjoy this location. Big clean room, with extra bedding of it gets cold during spring / winter. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast as we wanted to explore... More

We were travelling down the coast from Brisbane to Sydney and thought we might stop at Byron Bay for an hour to get a coffee and stretch our legs. The atmosphere and scenery are such that we decided to stay for one night. Planula Retreat looked good and we went to check. We are now staying a second night which... More
