We have just stayed 2 nights at Planula (3 of us). The owners Tim and Wandy were so helpful, and booked surfing lessons on our behalf. Planula is a place of peace and serenity near to Byron bay. We really enjoyed our stay, the use of the guest kitchen and cosy lounge with log fire was great, and Wandy baked... More

A nice place to stay, friendly owners. Clean and comfortable. Log fire in the shared lounge. Very well set up kitchen with all you need. Breakfast cooked for you in the morning. And best of all, just off the main part of town. Lovely surroundings and peaceful.

My wife and I recently stayed at Planula Retreat for a three night stay. What an amazing place, set away from the hustle and bustle of Byron Bay and tucked away in a lush rainforest setting, we couldn't have asked for more. Hosts Wandy and Tim made every effort to make us feel right at home. Our room was clean... More

What a find in the busy busy Byron Bay! We found Planula a relaxing and quiet retreat in the busy land of Byron Bay, a convenient 3kms from the town centre. The rooms were practical and warm with no TV which was GREAT! The common lounge and kitchen were welcoming with a lovely wooden fire place on the cool damp... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We loved it! The location is great, you feel secluded on the property but have the convenience of town only a few kms away. It is very relaxing with the sounds of birds in the trees and a few bush turkeys running around. We were also lucky enough to see a... More

I stayed here for 4 nights - Planula is a great place to unwind and get away for some R&R The property is very relaxing and has a cabin feel. It's close enought to Byron to feel included but far enought to escape the business of the nightlife. Wandy made me feel at home and cater to my needs. I... More

We stayed at Planula for three nights what a great place to relax and unwind away from the busy day to day grind. The property is relaxing and very comfortable what a great time of year to visit Byron not too many people and the weather was great even warm enough for a swim. Loved the home made muffins and... The location itself is amazing, and the accommodation is of high quality. To be fair though, it's the service that will see us come back in the future. Wandy and Tim went above and beyond and for that we are truly appreciative. Highly recommended.

Whilst travelling up the coast, we were looking for somewhere quiet in Byron to stay - this isn't likely as lots of places on the seafront - not this one. Perfect little hideaway with just 5 double bedrooms so not too busy. Breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit, and more. Lovely. Owners Wandy and Tim very friendly and happy to help... More

This is an idyllic B&B 5 minutes outside Byron bay. It's surrounded by trees and there's lots of nature here with water lizards and even the odd wallaby. We had a garden room that was spacious and light and very comfortable. There is a communal lounge and continental breakfast is served en famille in the kitchen. It's help yourself and... More
