We stayed at this resort after completing a long 3 months of full time seasonal work and it really was like paradise. The lobby wasn't overall inviting but the room was absolutely luxurious. It was very clean and had quite a warm feeling about it. The resort was located just a 10 minute walk from the town centre and a... More

We stayed here for an overnight stay to attend a wedding. It was a good location and good value for money (low season). The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early with our baby. The room was clean and spacious for my partner and I and our baby. I would recommend getting a room at the... We stayed here 2 years ago and were really very pleased with the warm service and great pool and room. I still enjoyed it this time but our room was not as good as the first room - very clean still but not as comfortable. It was the top room facing the street. it probably was so very noisy as... More

This hotel reminds me of your typical Gold Coast self contained resort. Rooms are spacious and sufficiently appointed although the appliances could use some maintenance or upgrade. The hotel is easy to get to and find and once you are there you can leave your car in the free security car park and walk everywhere in Byron Bay. There is... More

We spent 3 nights in this place and unfortunately this is one of the worst value for money we had during our 1 month trip on the coast. Rooms, beds, bathrooms are extremely old and not convenient. Yes, it was the high season but 400$+ for a room without breakfast, no housekeeping (they even do not change the towels on... More

We stayed three nights in February 2014. Great location, short walk to town and other attractions. Direct access to the beach. Room was spacious and very clean. No problems with booking or after hours check-in.

We stayed two nights and loved the location! It's seconds to the beach and minutes to the shops and cafes. The gentleman at the front desk was honest, helpful and pleasant. He highly recommended hiking over to the light house via the beach - bring water and wear or pack comfortable shoes with you. We had a studio on the... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Beachcomber Resort in january 2014 with our 3 boys aged 9 -14 After reading reviews on here I had requested an apartment off the street...and we were allocated a fantastic ground floor 1bedroom plus studio dual key apartment. Both rooms were spacious, clean and absolutely perfect for our family. The furniture and fittings were... More

We have now stayed at the Beachcomber six times and have recommended it to many of our friends. My wife and I took our 4 month old baby girl for the first time in March 2013 and again found it very inviting and perfect for our needs. The location to town is approx 3 or 4 minute walk and the... We found the location to be very convenient-five minute walk to all the shops and cafés but far enough to be away for all the noise. Also direct access to the beach from the back of the complex. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable but fairly minimal in terms of supplies (eg towels, toiletries) and decor is somewhat dated.... More
