When my friend and I arrived at this hostel we were pleased with the first impressions of the actual hostel, it's clean and the pool areas nice along with a clean kitchen. However, there's one specific guy on reception, Elliott I think his name was who is extremely cock sure of himself and exceptionally rude. We had slight trouble in... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and it wasn't as amazing as everyone makes out to be. Yeah its alright but for sure not the best we've stayed in. Big cobwebs in the room, pool was gross! Not sure i seen a single person in there. Kitchen was pretty sweet, deposit is required for plates and cutlery. Wifi was terrible and... More

The facilities and staff at the holiday village were the best that my group experienced throughout our trip traveling down the east coast. The hostel provided a great social atmosphere with the pool a great spot to relax after a long day on the beach. I will always remember Byron Bay as the highlight of my trip and the Holiday... More

This hostel has such an amazing location...10 min walk from the beach, even closer to all stores on the main strip of the town. It's next to a grocery store, plenty of travel agencies, and all the bars you want to head to at night. They have a lot of activities planned for all the backpackers pretty much every night... More

As I was traveling in Australia that hostel was one of the best I've been to. Sun, fun, party, entertainment and excursions around Byron. All you need is there. They even have a pool for all who got sick of the beach like me ;) The long table in the mittle was kind of a meeting point. Everybody was there... More

This is the place to stay when you're in Byron Bay! Great bathrooms, big kitchen and the greatest staff you can ever meet. They're all so friendly and never had a problem to help. Such a good family vibe and a lot of activities like free surfboards, bikes and bbq on Saturdays. I had the best time in Byron Bay... More

This was one of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Australia for a month. What sets this hostel apart is the friendly, helpful staff. The owners are genuinely good people who are more than accommodating. The rest of the crew are all there because they genuinely want to be. Elliot and Graeme McKay in particular were extremely... I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights in February 2015. We were picked up from our Greyhound bus stop by their complimentary service and then our shuttle bus gave us a quick tour of Byron so that we could get to know our whereabouts. There was free wifi at reception during its opening hours and the hostel was... More
