I stayed here in July 2012 and had a great time. Friendly staff, basic cabins (albeit very rustic, but no problem there), and a nice area to sit ouside and be able to have a smoke an not be attacked by the mosquito army. The beach is just a short walk away and the views breathtaking. Byron Bay is a... More

We were so pleased to find somewhere we could bring our pet dog, which was impossible anywhere else in Byron Bay. The cabins are located approx 3.5kms from the town centre amongst lush rainforest and we were surrounded by bush turkeys which proved amusing. The manager was friendly. We were disappointed though at the condition of the cabins. At $120... More

I've stayed here a few times with my dog and enjoyed it. The cabins are rustic so don't expect luxury but they're comfortable and the rainforest setting is just amazing. You'll need a car to get to Byron, for me not being right in the town was a bonus.

My husband and i had a beautiful, relaxing time here at the Rainforest Resort. We looked out onto bushland and it was really peaceful with our own large villa. We had our own bikes and road into Byron for dinner and explored the bike track behind the resort. The owner was exceptionally helpful posting on my mobile phone that I... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend and dog, we had such a good time! The owner is very accommodating! Not to mention the personal touch of walking you to your accom along with giving us some milk so we could make a cup of tea before heading out! Coffee/ Tea facilities along with facilities to master chef the night away!... More

The accommodation stunk of mold, the owner does not seem to use anti perspirant. The location was difficult to find and was far too over priced. The facilities were of a poor standard and huts could most certainly do with an overhaul...we won't be going back!!

Had a blast. Byron is awesome. Located central . Stores. bars. Beach. What else do you need in byron bay. A short trip to nimbin. Rainbow forest. A great early morning walk to the light house to see the sun comming up and if your lucky dolphins.

Basic cabins in the rainforest, 15mins walk from the beach with all mod cons and facilities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, special mention to Murray for allowing us to having an extra person in the cabin. Great cooking and rec area with table tennis, pool and a pool and spa. Definately stay here again. : )

1 Star as 0 rating is not available. On arrival the unkempt presentation was our first clue. One of the buildings looks like a miners shed from Sovereign Hill Pioneer Village in Victoria . Third world conditions, dirty facilities, broken bed, no supplies, kitchen basic & worthless, broken bench, ants on cups, no iron or laundry facility in a cabin.... More

We stayed with our Rottweiler puppy for one night, this place is so amazing we wanted to stay another night but unfortunately they were fully booked! Friendly staff, spacious well set out cabins. The cabin is surrounded by wondeful green forrest and you wouldn't know anyone else was around. The puppy loved exploring the forrest and taking walks along the... More
