Our motel room was very well equipped with everything you need to settle in for a while, including washer and dryer, and a kitchen. It was very homely. It is very close to the beach and walking distance to everything. The best thing was discovering an amazing vegetarian Indian cafe in the same building.

Stayed here for one night, room was very clean, bed was comfortable, nice basic room. There was no issues with noise at all, I didn't hear anything outside all night and it was a Saturday night stay. Great place to stay if you want good basic Byron Bay accommodation and it's also in town but not on the main street.... More

The price was right and the unit included a washer dryer and kitchenette, a nice roomy balcony and a spacious room. The placement of the tv was a bit awkward, but otherwise we were happy with the room. Clean, neat, friendly. Don't expect sea views, but otherwise close enough to walk to a good selection of restaurants.

Motel was value for money. Rooms were tidy and the beds were fine. Close to the main centre of town and down the road from the beach. The staff were really helpful and recommended a lot of restaurants and things to do.

Spent 4 nights at the Byron Bay Side and thought it was a great find. Yes it is quite dated but the rooms were clean, pleasant and had all the amenities you needed including a laundry, kitchen and large balcony. The location is good, you won't have a view but it the motel is quiet as it's a few streets... More

Sure this motel is dated but it was staffed by friendly staff, was very clean, was very reasonably priced [we got a double for $120 a night] and best of all it was central to Byron Bay so once we parked the car undercover it stayed there. Really what more do you want if you plan to be out and... More

A group of us stayed here for one night. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and clean. Good available facilities - kitchen and laundry. Location perfect - at the back of main street, but easy walking distance to everything including the beach. On site free parking. Only down sides were the free wifi not connecting, the shower pressure was inconsistent,... More

This motel is spotless! Nice size rooms with loads of space, and big balconies. We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, and our room was given a daily service. Even when I accidentally broke one of the glasses in the rooms kitchen area, and took the remains to reception to apologise and pay for... More

If you don't have the earth to spend then this is perfect. Our room a twin...had a leather couch, single bed, double bed and fold out bed. Kitchen is well stocked with handy pots and pans and all the other necessaries. The bathroom was clean...washing machine...dryer etc. Also as it's christmas day...we were given extra towels...as staff were off for... More
