lovely and clean rooms with good facilities, comfy bed and pillows. Great location just far enough out of town to escape the hubbub, but still only 10 minute walk into town. the balcony apartment was great, and as it was winter, the heater was crucial. right opposite Clark's beach

Many months ago I booked cheap airfares to Byron Bay (or more accurately Balina) for a quick and relatively cheap break. I have not been to Byron before but, in short, had a great time and would certainly stay here again and recommend others do. POSITION - Julains apartmetns were perfectly located for us - just outside town towards the... More

Trying to find accommodation Saturday afternoon in byron for one night is no mean feat particularly if you dont want to part with $300 or more minimum. Thanks to the Byron Bay tourist information centre they found us available accommodation at Julians. The receptionist found us a great room at an affordable and reasonable price, so much so we were... More

Fully equipped with everything you need for a week in Byron. Unit 8 has a day bed on the L-shaped balcony, perfect for reading a book. Julian's is just over the road from The Pass, which is my favourite section of beach on the planet. Jodie the caretaker was very hospitable and friendly. Thanks Jodes, definitely will be back next... 10/10! I booked a room for our 10 year anniversary and it was just perfect. Great location (across the road from the beach), very quiet location but still close enough to walk to town. There is a secure carpark below which is really handy. Our room was cosy, clean and nicely decorated. It was lovely sitting on the balcony surrounded... More

We generally stay in town when in Byron but booked here for a change of pace. The position is perfect, right across from Clarke's beach and only 1.3 klm from the centre of Byron. We were given Apartment 9 (upstairs balcony apartment premium with doorway). It was absolutely perfect for us. There was even a small spare bedroom should someone... More

Was asked to settle balance upon arrival which I didn't do. I questioned the nightly rate the next morning & did get a discounted (winter rate) but $205 for a small studio with no daily service, furnished cheaply with nothing matching is frankly a disgrace. There was an 'off' smell emanating from the shower drain. I will not stay here... More

Your comments are welcome. They help us stay on the top of our game. Julians apologises for any intermittent odour you experienced during your stay, however the problem was not isolated to Julians: after extensive investigation we discovered the Lighthouse pumping station was the culprit and neighbouring properties also experienced odour! All is now happily resolved. As for a daily... More

We really enjoyed our studio apartment at Julians. The place was clean and spacious. We especially like the large enclosed patio. We ate ever meal out on the patio. Unfortunately our trip consisted of rain every day. We still took a hike to the light house, walked into town (only 15mins), took a beach walk. Everything was close by and... More

Rooms are very small. Although Modern & clean very limited kitchen facilities. Only two hot plates tried cooking breaky one day and it was just a pain. Not good for families. Suitable for couples. It's a least a 15minute walk to town. Lots of stairs if your staying with kids & if your at the back like we were no... More

Spent four days here in Unit 8 over Cup Day weekend. Best unit in the block in my opinion. It's upstairs, the second unit from the front, and is therefore protected from any traffic and street noise. It's nicely furnished, has a lovely balcony, and a huge wooden bench perfect for lolling on with a good book or a glass... More
