We have been coming to Ferry Reserve at Brunswick Heads for the last four years, and it is the reason we come up this way. It's a great park right on the river. Clean and tidy. Matt and Stacey, the managers, couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Makes us feel like family. Short walk into town and shops. We are... More

Booked in for 4 nights, ended up staying for 11 nights. Really enjoyed this caravan park. Great location on the Brunswick River and a 10 minute walk along the bike trail into Brunswick Heads. As others have mentioned, it is noisy being right near the hwy and initially I thought our stay would be marred by the constant hum of... More

Possibly the nicest staff that we have ever met. Helpful in every way. Facilities are kept very tidy and clean, grounds well maintained. River is nice and presents a nice backdrop. Sleep is near impossible due to incredibly close proximity to the M1. (Pacific Hwy) Large trucks start from early evening till mid morning .. The hill approaching next to... More

Just spent 3 nights here in our van - picked this park as it was right on the river and we had a little dog. The park is clean and tidy - unable to get a spot with a river view. Only campers or camp trailers are allowed on the sites right on the river. Powered van sites are across... More

Our families stayed in a couple of the cabins with river views. I think the previous review was really misleading because there is no where near the level of noise that they say. We found it a lovely quiet spot traffic noise was minimum and we didn't notice it. The cabins were really modern, comfy and clean and had everything... More

Spent three nights here as part of our tour down the coast. The park is the only park in Brunswick that takes dogs. It is nicely situated right beside the Brunswick River which is perfect for setting up camp and throwing a line in. The facilities are clean and there is a mix of old and new amenities. The park... For anyone who is planning on staying here for a good night's sleep, take your ear-plugs and take note that the M1 Freeway runs parallel to this caravan park. We rented one of the cabins at a cost of $155 pn for a sleepless night of road trains thundering past right beside the reserve all day and all night. You... More

We have just recently stayed for 6 nights ... Great little spot on the River. Facilities are good, not that we interacted with Managers but staff seemed nice enough. Few rowdy boys arrived for the weekend and spoilt what had been a blissful, peaceful week so if you want a relax ... Mid week would be the go as weekends... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
With the beautiful Brunswick River at its doorstep and magnificent Mt Chincogan as its backdrop, Ferry Reserve Holiday Park makes the most of its dramatic setting. Named after its location, the site of the first ferry to cross the river, this park is a safe and accessible place for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. Because it has its own boat ramp - the only park in this area to do so - it is the obvious choice for the committed fisherman or boater. Brunswick Heads with its patrolled surf beach and vibrant cafes is only a three minute drive away. Or, for a safe and healthy family outing, there is a dedicated path/cycleway to town that does not cross any major roads. ... more   less
