This is the second time that I have stayed here as it is ideally situated a short walk from the centre of the town with easy access to shops, hotels and restaurants. It is in a quiet location and the rooms have been recently refurbished whilst maintaining the retro feel. It reminds me of motels I used to stay at... More

Stayed here the one night, very welcoming staff, small, well appointed room, all amenities, very clean. Very small basin in bathroom but great shower pressure! Quite location just off main drag, numerous eateries for dinner and breakfast. Reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

This standard 1969 Aussie motel has been renovated and maintained to be super clean, comfortable and better than new. Just far enough from the main street to be quiet but close enough to walk everywhere. Free WiFi worked well. I would stay there again in preference to the more 'traditional' hotels.

Cedar Lodge looks a bit old fashioned but don't be fooled. The rooms look like they have recently been renovated, the facilities are fine, the bed was very comfortable and the WiFi connection was strong. What more do you want? Highly recommended!

This motel is stuck in a time warp, not that this is a bad thing, it is just like a motel that you would experience in the sixtys, with a modern update. Quiet enough, close to the preserved township. Clean and tidy. Small rooms for the price. A bigger table and comfy chairs would be an improvement. Friendly, helpful owner.

Stayed here 3 nights. Rooms have been nicely updated and feel quite modern. Staff were friendly. Great central location and you can walk everywhere. Love the free WiFi!! Get a room close to reception if you want good signal. Enjoyed our stay here. Did get a little noise in the mornings with other people leaving the motel. Also the bed... More

This motel doesn't look too great from the street, but the rooms are spotless and the beds are amazing! We had a great stay there - and it's extremely quiet, central, and the coloured doors were a gorgeous quirky touch. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it!

Just recently visited Braidwood in May 2014, the first heritage listed town in Australia I believe. Firstly what a beautiful town and friendly people. Diana the manager was very welcoming and allowed us to check into our room 3 hours before normal time. The Motel may not win any architectural awards but is exceptionally clean and well located in the... More

Stayed overnight in September 2013 with my partner and 2 year old. Enough room for the portacot and us (cosy, but managed it). Partner had already stayed a few nights for work when we arrived. He found it to be a friendly, comfortable place to stay. Lovely, bright, clean rooms. Friendly management. Will definitely stay again should the need arise!

Friendly welcome. Situated within walking distance of the club and the very interesting main street. Reasonably small room, but very clean and comfortable and a good hot shower. Very quiet location and a good nights sleep.
