Enjoyed another wonderful stay in "Craigieburn", this time for Christmas in July. Just 1 night, wish it was longer Check-in was smooth and friendly, as was the Check-out. Rooms warm and cosy, beds comfortable and bathroom modern which also had a bath. Had to climb to the 3rd floor, this would be a bit of a problem if you were... More

The hotel has a beautiful set up with open fires and lovely comfy lounges. However it goes downhill from there... Our room was clean but tiny. Our room faced the terrace and unfortunately we were kept awake until 1:30am due to a party below. The breakfast was pretty poor, however the dinner was good. I also find it frustraing that... More

Craigieburn is an interesting old/historic hotel a few kilometers from the township of Bowral. Warm "lounge" rooms are available to socialise with friends in with roaring gas/log fireplaces. Also a Snooker room is available to have a game before tea. The hotel rooms are small but neat, tidy and adequate for an overnight stay. The shower & king size bed... More

I just conferenced with a small group from work, great facilities and the gentleman running the day had everything perfect. Meals in the restaurant where delicious , they even helped out my work mates who had special dietary needs. My room was very comfortable and warm which made my stay very relaxing even tho I was there on work.

Thank for the feedback. I will forward your comments to our F&B team as I am sure they will be pleased with the comments. Hopefully next time we see you it will be for leisure, this weekend would have been perfect with a blanket of snow still covering the ground of the property. More

Great location with lots of outdoor space to view, peaceful and close to Bowral's Shopping Centre if that's what you want to do. Staff were fantastic, especially Emma in the restaurant. Food was good, although for Christmas in July a little more variety would have been good as we were there for 3 nights. We had lunch in the lounge... More

Appreciate the review. We have made a strong effort to have the breakfast product up to a high standard as it is the most important meal of the day, I am glad you enjoyed it. I will forward your comment regarding your check out experience to the front office team, it is part of the experience that we are really... More

Totally underwhelmed by this hotel. First impression was a lovely old building however after seeing our room this quickly changed. There was one small window in our room (see photo) & the view was of a roof & part of a chimney stack. It felt like a cell & that combined with the stifling heat made me feel claustrophobic. The... Thanks for the review. It is unfortunate that we did not meet your expectations. We have recently refurbished our restaurant and have spent some additional time on getting our breakfast product up to a standard we are proud of. Everything on the continental side of the buffet is made here at the hotel, with as much local produce as possible.... More

We stayed at Peppers for a week as part of a group taking part in a soccer tournament and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a quiet location on the non-town side of the railway station and is quite old world in its make up. There are a number of rooms adjoining the dining area where you... More

Beautiful old building with many original features retained. Many rooms are up stairs and along winding hallways so small luggage is best. Shared, large verandah with views over the golf course was a lovely spot to sit in the sun on a wintry day. Carpeted room was quieter than the timber floored one and loud voices carried through shared walls... More

Thank you for such a glowing review. It certainly is an amazing place to come and unwind on a winter's day/weekend. The afternoon sun is quite pleasant and with the way the balconies are set out it offers a 180 degrees uninterrupted view of the property. I will make sure to pass on your comments to the food and beverage... More

Arrived after dark on a Friday, opened the blind on Saturday morning to a view of a roof! The front door opened on to the side of the balcony but the balcony is open to everyone, so I don't see the point in paying extra for a balcony room. Everything else was fine, the staff friendly and helpful, and buffet... More

What should be a charming old hotel is instead very tired. There are still several lovely features such as the cosy lounge areas with open fires but it is not worth the Peppers prices. Understandably the guest rooms are small because of the age of the hotel but worn carpets and creaking stairs can and should be upgraded. The included... More

Thank you for the review. Unfortunately some section of the hotel is a bit creaky due to the high traffic. We are currently working on replacing the carpet and fixing the board, however this is not able to be done until January next year as it will require for an entire section of the hotel to be closed. In regards... More
