Sure, the hotel is a little tired, but this is easy overlooked when you are staying at such beautiful grounds. What is not acceptable is the attitude of reception staff. Honestly, a smile wouldn't go astray. A little assistance would be great. There are stairs everywhere, if only the hotel could invest in recruiting a couple of porters simply to... More

The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings but the rooms are hardly relaxing. From the creaking hallways throughout the building and the lack of soundproofing between adjoining rooms to cleaning staff having loud and lengthy conversations outside our room every day the hotel is very noisy and not a place for relaxation. The driveway is muddy and full of potholes... More

Had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at peppers for a conference. The driveway is very pretty and the foyer and reading rooms are beautiful. Once you have to lug you baggage up the stairs ( I was on the 3rd floor) as they don't have a lift to the higher floors. The hallway carpet is very worn and faded... More

Recently while visiting family in Canberra I escaped to Bowral with a dear friend. It's lovely to indulge in a little luxury and loved the ambience of the property. Minor issues such as heating in room overwhelming for 2 ladies and the washbasin in the bathroom nowhere to place toiletry bags but other than that a beautiful place to visit.... More

Thank you kindly for your review. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay here at Craigieburn. Although the weather has been very gloomy over the last couple of months, there is not much better than enjoying a glass of wine sitting in front of the fire. I look forward to welcoming you back to our property. More

My fiancé and I just love Peppers Craigieburn. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel itself full of old world charm. We took advantage of a special package including breakfast, a glass of mulled wine each on arrival and a $50 food voucher. The food was incredible and we ate a delicious platter of food in front of the gas... More

Thank you kindly for a wonderful review. Nothing better than sitting in front of the fire, eating some amazing food from our recently refurbished Hickory's Restaurant and bar while enjoying a glass of local wine. I am glad you had a great time, I will make sure to pass on your comments to the kitchen team. Look forward to welcoming... More

Very Impressive, beautiful grounds with a private small 9 hole golf course. Our room was small but had everything we needed for a night’s stay; the bathroom is one person only size. There are broadband packages you can purchase for Wi-Fi together with interactive television packages for those wanting more options. The sitting rooms have a wonderful ambience with the... More

Thank you for the review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Craigieburn. My self originally from Sydney I have to absolutely agree with you, autumn is an absolutely amazing time of year in the highlands. If this is what autumn looks like I can't wait to see what spring looks like. Our lounge space is a great place... More

I had lunch and dinner at this restaurant on the same Saturday in April. The menus were the same. So very little choice. The lunch service was poor and slow. Meal was average. The dinner service was superior and the waitress was outstanding in her service and her attitude and friendliness. Location is nice and has a lovely outlook. Bar... More

Thank you for the review. I am sorry to hear you received slow service for lunch, however at the same time pleased it improved for dinner. I came to Peppers recently for high tea as part of a girls weekend away. We had a lovely hotel followed by facials & massages at the adjoining Endota spa. A lovely afternoon- gorgeous high tea including lovely dairy free options for one of the girls. The grounds are just lovely too, especially with the autumn leaves.

Thank you for the review. Autumn is certainly an amazing part of the year in the highlands. We are extremely proud of our high tea, with all of the ingredients made on site by the kitchen. I will make sure to forward your comments to our F&B team. More

Recently I spent a night at Peppers Craigieburn to catch up with a friend. Arriving just after 2pm which is check in time, I found the reception was informative of the premises and met with a warm welcome. The afternoon was spent by one of the many available open fires which lead nicely into dinner time which was at the... More

Thank you for the great review. Our lounge with the many fire places is certainly a great place to relax and unwind. The newly refurbished Hickory’s Restaurant and Bar is a great addition to the space which we are extremely proud of. Spent 2.5 days for a conferences he food was excellent , service is superb and the grounds in autumn fantastic just a pity the rooms are so dated with a poor standard of decor and felt insecure with a very thin door

Appreciate the review. The weather in Autumn is absolutely amazing here in the Highlands. The colour is fantastic, a true autumn in NSW. I will make sure to pass on your comment to the F&B team as they will be glad you had a great time. Kind regards More
