Every year for the past 40 plus years a group of 6 couples go away for a few days. This year Craigieburn provided an enjoyable venue for the golfers as it is sited on a nine hole course. We had stayed some 30 years ago and then it was a guest house. The present owners have retained some of the... More

We have kept the charm of the old building, the owners are quite adamant about keeping the stylin the way it is. Introducing a modern touch but not losing the old look and feel of a building over 120 years old. Which is after all why we have guests returning to our property? They return for the beautiful gardens, original... More

Peppers Craigieburn is a wonderful old property, substantially upgraded from days of old, and individual rooms that are not (in the old section) like every other hotel you've ever visited. But as a venue for a conference it just didn't all come together, food just below expectation, breakfast a distinct down market experience and rooms that were frankly noisy from... More

Thank you for the review, I noticed you stayed in March. We have made a number of changes since then and are continuing to work on our product and delivery. We are currently in the middle of a refurbishment of our bar, which is due for completion in February next year which will be a great addition to our Food... More

I chose Peppers for a romantic lon weekend away, Very disappointed. Arrived Friday and was told no cocktails on Fridays but after two normal drinks cocoktails were served. Too late.Dinned in the restaurant and took 50 minutes to get seved our entree. Rooms are small and bath closet big enough for one person. No long hanging space for full length... More

Thanks for the review, it is with reviews and comments from our guests that we are made aware of issues within our hotel rooms. I do hope you forwarded your concerns regarding the power point directly to our reception team so we could have it repaired. As our bar is currently being refurbished it makes it difficult to serve cocktails... More

We booked this grand old mansion- now a resort in the country town of Bowral. Money was the only interaction we had with staff - everything cost - wifi even. And no we couldn't have a massage. The place is so rundown. The reception rooms are grand, the gardens are brilliant, the bedrooms (upper price range) are poky and the... More

It’s unfortunate you had a disappointing time. We are a property built in the 1800's and as such may not be as shiny as other properties in Bowral. However as you mentioned our gardens and reception area is why guests keep returning to our property. We are constantly improving the property with a major refurbishment of the Restaurant and Bar... My wife and I stayed one night on the way through to Canberra. We were given Room 114,which had a large main room, a dressing room with a desk, wardrobe and fridge, and a large bathroom. The towels were to die for and the shower was large and the water was strong & easily controlled for temperature. No air conditioning... More

Wow, could not have said it better myself. Room 114 does have one of the better view from the property, with a full un-obstructed view of the 9 hole golf course, which is a great walk. I am glad you enjoyed our Food and Beverage facilities as we are in the final stages of finalising the refurbishment of the Bar... More

I went to this hotel to attend a conference. This has been a great experience I had for the first time in this quit place away from the city noise. With all green landscape around, farms and the clean air, all of this make it a great retreat place. For Sydney, it's very convenient with about an hour driving.

It certainly is an amazing place to spend a day's work or conference. And as mentioned just over an hour out of Sydney, an easy drive for most Sydney locals, being straight down the Hume highway. Next time make sure to bring your golf clubs as the course is just long enough for a quick game before driving home. Cheers... More

There is no doubt the exterior of the main building and the grounds of Craigiburn are stunning. It's a shame the rest of the experience doesn't always deliver. I don't normally leave negative reviews however, we stayed for 1 night and when we checked out I didn't find myself wishing we didn't have to leave. Never a good sign! The... More

Thanks for the review, a few issue for us to look in to however we are focused on improving and providing a great Peppers Craigieburn experience. We had our wedding at Peppers Craigieburn in September this year. Everything about our reception was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every thing ran smoothly. The food was outstanding- I'm not just saying this because it was my wedding- but the food was outstanding! Beautifully presented and tasted great! The location itself is ideal if... More

That’s great news, glad we could do our bit to make your day as special as it should be. We do have one of the best wedding locations in the Southern Highlands, with a magic garden looked after by our very own full time gardener. I will definitely pass on your comments to the team as I am sure they... More

Came down from Syd & stayed for hubby's birthday. From the time we made the reservation with Kelly to getting greeted by Julie and finally getting farewelled by Brennan- customer service was great! Perfectly manicured grounds with breathtaking views. Had a few drinks & snacks at the restaurant. Our waiter Angelo was so pleasant. Room was simple & cosy. Matched... More

Stayed overnight on our way through to Canberra. The grounds and building were beautiful! Love the history of the area and the hotel itself. Staff were friendly. Thank you for the review, we are very proud of the way the estate looks. Our Gardener Theo does and amazing job looking after the gardens, and at this time of the year they are at their best.
