"Lovely " and "quaint" are the first attributes that come to mind when describing Bowral. The Berida Manor is very much attuned with this - lovely property, beautiful grounds, ivy on the walls.. The restaurant in the Manor is great - food well above average standards. The package with bed/ breakfast and dinner is fantastic value. My only complaint -... More

If you're a fan of the BBC's Faulty Towers, look no further for a real life Basil experience. Whilst this hotel looks picturesque from the outside, upon entering you soon discover the place is tired, old fashioned, and in desperate need of updating. Our room was blue with an interesting duck motif, and I don't think new sheets had been... More

On our recent Christmas road trip from Brisbane to Melbourne and home again, we stumbled across this delightful and charming old manor house through the Wotif app on my iPhone. The manager matched Wotif's deal - a fabulous price and half the amount we paid for an overnight stay in a comfortable but 'nothing to write home about' motel in... More

Plenty of charm in this old Manor. Our 2 night stay in a Manor room was filled with positives. Our room was big, bed comfortable, tastefully furnished with old style furniture being both comfortable and practical and the toiletries were good quality. All through this Manor the furniture reflects the décor, purposely kept that way by guest feedback (apparently). The... More

Our stay at the Berida Manor was pleasant although the hotel is showing signs of aging. While this may be attractive to some I found it a little tiresome. That said the room was comfortable and we ran into some nice people in the magnificent drawing room/guest lounge. The most significant problem was that the rooms do not have air-conditioning... The room was ok but nothing special. The stairs can be a bit of a hassle. Service was fair, however management needs to change their listing of the massage that needed to be paid in cash rather than their advertised "charged to room".On the plus side there is a golf course just across the road and the great country restaurant... I stayed there for 4 nights in a suite. Love the old style and settings. Room was nice and quit and clean. This is definitely a different experience and I enjoyed it. The Restaurant can do with some more choice on the menu card, but there are plenty nice restaurants in walking distance. Overall I can recommend a stay here.

We stayed here for 1 night with 2 other couples and we all really enjoyed it. Berida Manor has a lovely feeling of graciousness which is enchanting. The place is a little dated but we found this to be part of its charm and character. We would definilty recommend staying here and we will do so again.
