The beds were comfortable. It was clean. We had a room overlooking the golf course. We had the place to ourselves, so I thought they could have upgraded us to a better room with a balcony and a bath. The service was terrible in the fact they all seemed miserable and not at all friendly. This can make a big... More

Fabulous wedding, but we went to the bar after as directed by the MC. I sat and had one drink as purchased by a friend and then when I approached the bar was informed that I was cut off. Somehow everyone else who was staggering and falling to the bar was good to order. Nice, but for your guests sake... More

Really enjoyed my stay here. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well serviced. Best to ask for a room that overlooks the golf course (otherwise you may end up overlooking the car park!). Early morning walk around Golf course recommended. Best to finish before the Golfers start about 7am. So... More

We stayed one night in a golf course view room. The room was large spacious and the bed was massive and so comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was included in the price and was above average in variety. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I just spent two nights there as part of a medical conference and when I booked it felt that it was overpriced as I know the Bowral area better than most due to my parents retiring there some years ago. The hotel is only 3 years old and very modern. I think previous reviewers may have mixed this hotel up... More

Had the pleasure of a two night stay , we upgraded to an executive suite with amazing views over the beautiful golf course. All staff we met were very welcoming and friendly service was provided by all . Our room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable king size bed, Not sure why anyone would think that the rooms or... More

The is not worthy of its 4.5 star rating. Very tired decor, very average rooms (who doesn't provide a safe nowadays?) and the restaurant food is not great (my steak was over cooked and when I asked for a replacement I was told the chef disagreed with my assessment and refused to provide a new one unless I waited for... Very clean and crisp and spacious rooms with a good dining room / menu with quality food and attentive service. A great base to explore the region and, although I did not play, it has a cracking golf course adjoining. Would def revisit.

This place call their Rooms " Suites" and charges accordingly-over $400 PN. They do not have any suites-only very standard rooms. There are many other inadequacies not the least of which is cleanliness. The "suite" was so depressing that we abandoned our second -paid for night to return home to a better place. I am reporting the misrepresentation to Consumer affairs.

Went to Gibraltar for a girls' weekend (spa, golf, walks etc) with my mum, sister and my young daughter. We all enjoyed our stay very much. Great features were: very comfy, large beds and bathrooms, friendly staff everywhere, and a bar/restaurant with a genuinely lively feel, wood fire outside and great food. The spa treatments and pool were lovely as... More
