We ate here recently and I won't be rushing back. I had alpaca Kofta with salad. The salad was not as fresh as one would expect and I only ate half the dish. My friends felt the same about their meals. Fortunately we selected from the specials menu so it didn't cost the earth, otherwise you can be paying $30 for... More

Lunch at the Berry Hotel. Really nice hamburger and glass of white. Nice relaxing venue with good outlook. Prices reasonable and quality good. We were there on a weekday and not crowded however weekends are always busy and there may be a short wait

Stopped over at this hotel for lunch with friends and was drawn to the advertising for their Alpacha burger being voted one of the best 6 pub burgers in NSW. I don't know who voted but I found it rather ordinary, perhaps just not to my taste but I would not bother again. Others who had the burger felt the... More

My daughter and I choose to stay at the Berry Hotel when we come down from Sydney for the Berry Show every January. The decor is peeling and seen better days, but that's why we like it and why it is affordable. It has character. The rooms are clean, staff great and the breakfast is fantastic value as an inclusion... More

Stopped off for a spot of lunch here. Had hoped for some good old fashioned Sunday roast but alas not available. However, a good range of menu options on both the specials and lunch menus. I had Greek burger which was delicious. The other meals that were ordered by my group were also of a high standard. Despite the pub... More

We stopped in here for lunch yesterday - my husband was drawn by the sign advertising the alpaca burger! He went to the bar for drinks and I lined up to order lunch. The girl behind the counter needs both hospitality training and education in basic mathematics. I was sixth in line and it took nearly half an hour before... More

I suggest you give this one a miss.... the only bad meal we had in Australia. I should have realised that the reaction to ordering a burger "medium rare" of a raised eyebrow, was indicative of the cooking skills. There are many other good restaurants in Berry, it would be a shame to waste the opportunity by coming here.

A 2 night stay which was incredibly over priced, for such a bad experience. The whole hotel needs a good overhaul with peeling paint and broken fixtures/furniture. Some of this could have been overlooked if it was kept clean and tidy, however everything needed a good clean, in particular the bathrooms which were in desperate need of some TLC. The... More

We found this spot a great place for lunch, in fact we ate there twice. Plenty of space on each visit so we didn't have to sit too close to any other groups. Good value meals in fact I think it was one of the best pub meals I've had in Australia for a while. Staff were attentive and actually... More

Great value for money. My wife and I stayed on a Saturday night after traveling from Newcastle to do some Christmas shopping in town. I don't believe the negative reviews are justified as their expectations may be very high On a 150 year old coach house (hotel). We ate down stairs in the restaurant. The service was very friendly and... More
