Very friendly staff / owners, reasonably priced and by far a better stay than we had in Jindabyne last year, would use cottonwood lodge again and again. Berridale is a great little town has a superb little Bakery great country Pub as well, what more do you need and at under $200 a night for a family of 5 with... More

A weekend away to the snow; that was the idea. As it was still high to shoulder season, we couldn't find much in terms of accommodation with a reasonable price tag (plenty there, but all over priced, in my opinion). Then we found the Cottonwood Motel/Lodge online. $175 per night for 4 people, including breakfast, 3.5 star. Booked in, and... More

I found Cottonwood Lodge on Google, as I wanted to be close to Jindabyne as well as be affordable for a family fun snow weekend My family arrived on a Friday, we were greeted by the Owners Dave and Lyn, who were warm and welcoming, we were shown our rooms, which were comfortable, there was a flat screen tv, adequate... I stumbled across this little gem when booking some last minute ski accom for a three day ski holiday at Perisher with my 8yo daughter. The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was well laid out and very comfortable with plenty of space for luggage, a flat screen tv, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathroom was... More

We recently stayed here over the Easter long weekend, as we wanted to experience the Snowy Mountains outside the ski season. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of room for just two people. It was the perfect place to base ourselves to explore the Snowys, being very central to all activities... More

We recently spent a night here at the end of our week at Thredbo, so that we could ski all day on our last day without having to drive all the way back to Sydney. We also stayed here last year. On both occasions we have been very happy with our stay. The family rooms are a good size, spotlessly... More

This is a small family run motel and a good option for ski break. Berridale is a laid back country town and only 20 mins further from snow than jindabyne. The best thing about it is the service. Welcoming and helpful. It's also great value particularly for families. The rooms are a bit small and heating variable- didn't enjoy the... More

This is a homely, warm looking place set up like a lodge that belongs on the slopes. We stayed here last year and checked in around 9pm wanting to get to sleep for a big day on the slopes the next day. We had a double room which was VERY small. At about midnight a large group arrived and were... More
