Our family was lucky enough to spend a night after and before two very sad occasions. John and Sue Singleton are just a gem and a delight to deal with. They made our stay just fantastic and we would stay there anytime. The food was out of this world and fit for a king (and queen). If your lucky you... More

We really liked the hospitality of the owners who run the hotel. It was very easy to unload our gear including baby cot as you can park out front. Corner room is spacious if you need a bit of extra space. Kitchenette was useful, bed comfortable, and it was an easy walk to the few spots in town for dinner.... More

At $125.00 per night and the assurance by the operator that it was a "really nice room" there was an expectation that we would be comfortable. Where should we start: the dismantled smoke alarm! the rusted bedhead lights!, the worn carpet or the areas of dust where the vacuum didn't reach!. The bathroom is a step back in time, shower... As the previous reviewer, Glen W, said it is indeed clean and well-presented but could use some updating. We had a ground floor unit in the corner which was fine in every functional sense, if a little small. Our TV was also at an odd angle. The owners were very friendly and helpful and have two adorable dogs as a... More

Although reasonably well presented and clean , the bathroom was a tad dated with its olive green art deco tiles, and rather rustic appearance. bathroom a bit tired plus the curtains in room. A shower a curtain is awful in this day and age of shower recesses! Bathroom is important..nothing worse than a shower curtain which not only clings as... More

Have stayed here on a number of occasions (at least four times over the last 24months) in various rooms (upper and lower). The upper rooms are definitely preferred and although we stay as a couple I would recommend for a small family group, as the outdoor balcony with bar-b-que and indoor kitchenette are great if you are wanting to cook... Stayed for two nights with my brother & wife and enjoyed our stay very much. The mangers/owners were a very nice couple who were very helpful. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable with all we needed. A nice beach is only a few minutes walk away as is the wharf with some nice stores. A good place to eat... More

Mine hosts were friendly, the rooms were clean and serviced every day. Location can't be faulted minutes from the bowling club, the beach and fisherman's wharf. Bathrooms a bit dated but that's ok. Big flat screen TV.good reception, if in a place like this you want to watch TV. Hot water painfully slow to arrive, and wifi limited, but if... More

We only stopped one night, but what a find. We loved Bermagui and we really appreciated the owners directing us to the Seafood Cafe for our evening meal. We could not have asked for anything more from this hospitable lodging house. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

They made a mess of our reservations! My wife and I had planned to stay here for three nights to see in the new year and enjoy the local seafood. The woman on the counter was apologetic but it makes no difference when you are 5 to 6 hours drive from home. To be fair she tried to find us... More
