Stayed there for one night, such an old charm hotel. It was super quiet, rooms were really well done and had the necessary conveniences. Guess the thing I liked about it was that it had the real old charm character of a 1920's hotel, which is a nice change from the standard hotel. Meals were not cheap but not too... More

we have just arrived back from a lovely weekend at ballina manor. This is a beautifully restored building with a lot of attention given to the detail of the restoration. The meal in the restaurant was fantastic, I had a outstanding eye fillet followed by the best sticky date pudding but the standout was the mushroom and goats cheese bruchetta!... More

We were only in Ballina for one night and chose The Manor for lovely rooms and good reviews. It is in a quiet area and had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. They have a pillow menu so you can choose to suit. Our Classic room was lovely ,spacious and really made us feel at home. Small... More

If you want a place with character, go no further. A beautiful old building, especially inside ... high ceilings, large rooms with lots of antique furniture, well equipped bathrooms, free wifi, aircon but also cosy, mini bar etc. it also has a lovely outdoor area for drinks, some rooms have a little balcony. There is a restaurant, a little exy... More

The wipers on the car malfunctioned and we needed to stay over night in Ballina as the weather was nasty. At such short notice and in the Christmas season, we were, and I consider it now, lucky to get a room here. A fantastic federation era property, very well maintained and authentic. The lady on the front desk was extremely... More

I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and I was not as impressed as I had initially expected based on other reviews. Hotel was pretty standard - felt quite homely, but not very luxurious at the same time. Despite the room being of a 'bearable' standard, we had some family circumstances arise, and the service staff refused to... More

Stayed for a night last weekend and didn't want to leave! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and special mention should be made here of the two delightful Sophies and Chris, the maintenance man, who was so passionate and knowledgable about the history of the Manor and the local area. We were on a dinner, bed and breakfast package... More

We were going to stay in Byron Bay and couldn't get a room. Saw the reviews for this place and managed to get the last one. We got in late and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They got us a last minute table for dinner which was lucky as I really think it was the best steak we... More

This boutique hotel excelled expectations. It's in a quiet leafy street with off road parking, a beautifully restored period manor house. We had room 5, upstairs at the rear of the house, a large room, beautifully furnished with large light bathroom. There's French doors leading to the balcony which was a pleasant spot for afternoon tea. The room was meticulously... More

We originally stayed in 2010 and were so impressed we vowed to come back! It may have taken us four years, but the hospitality and quality of the hotel, staff and food was still second to none. Thank you all for a wonderful time, and for allowing us time in the dining room post breakfast to get some work done.... More
