The best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are a very nice size, mine had a balcony. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We went during school term and had the whole place to ourselves. The restraunt is also very good. Done up to the period with lots of antiques.

I personally loved how quaint this little place is. Definitely worth either a visit or a stay, prices vary depending on which room style. We didn't stay but we went over for the tour and dinner. I thought the food could be better with such price. But nevertheless, it was worth the whole experience. waitress was lovely too and honestly... More

We chose this place as a stop-off during a busy holiday period whilst driving to Queensland. It was sight unseen as we needed somewhere to sleep the night and found it online. When we called them, the receptionist was very helpful and suggested the dinner/bed/breakfast deal which we accepted. The dinner was delicious and well presented. I had a prawn... More

Beautiful rooms. The doors reminds me of my grandads and aunts place, so it was a comfortable nostalgic feeling. The staff were so friendly. Being a history buff i loved reading the folder of the historical past and old newspaper clippings.I am happy that the place had being saved from demolition and restored back to that period. I enjoyed the... More

Truly a wonderful hotel to stay and which deserves a five star rating, plus. Built in 1926 as a boarding school for girls and after many changes, this wonderful building has been lovingly restored to the grandeur of the "Twenties" as a hotel/motel with a fantastic restaurant. I doubt very much if one will find accommodation as elegant and spacious as... More

Recently stayed at this boutique hotel in Ballina whilst in area on business. Well presented room, great space with an excellent bathroom - two shower heads. Friendly and professional front-of-house staff. Had breakfast both days, very good standard. Free WIFI. Excellent location, very quiet. Only feedback for improvement: would be nice to have real coffee vs. plunger coffee with breakfast.... More

I'm very close to giving this hotel a 5/5 but I need to be fair with all my ratings here at TA. First of all, I must say, this is a very well conserved heritage building. If I was the heritage architect, I would be very proud of the outcome. The house keeping is also done with a lot of... More

Stayed there for one night, such an old charm hotel. It was super quiet, rooms were really well done and had the necessary conveniences. Guess the thing I liked about it was that it had the real old charm character of a 1920's hotel, which is a nice change from the standard hotel. Meals were not cheap but not too... More

we have just arrived back from a lovely weekend at ballina manor. This is a beautifully restored building with a lot of attention given to the detail of the restoration. The meal in the restaurant was fantastic, I had a outstanding eye fillet followed by the best sticky date pudding but the standout was the mushroom and goats cheese bruchetta!... More

We were only in Ballina for one night and chose The Manor for lovely rooms and good reviews. It is in a quiet area and had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. They have a pillow menu so you can choose to suit. Our Classic room was lovely ,spacious and really made us feel at home. Small... More
