Apartments are a generous size, located in a great spot. Most rooms have fantastic views, clean and tidy with comfortable beds. You can definitely get a restful night as there is no traffic noise. You in sit in the back garden and watch the spectacular sunset over the river. A short stroll to Shaws Bay where you will find a... More

The photo's are deceiving and not a true reflection of the apartment we stayed in. The apartment we stayed in was very dated and basic. The 'free' WiFi was a joke and was unstable the whole time we stayed. We stayed 5 nights and a ludicrous price. The bed was comfortable this was the only positive I have. There were... More

These apartments are very spacious and have absolutely stunning views, the staff are extremely helpful and very welcoming. The beach in front of these apartments are ideal for small children, as water is shallow and calm and perfect for them to have a play and splash around. Across the road is a lovely bay if you fancy a swim in... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on our drive south from Brisbane. We booked the deluxe apartment(No.7) and it is huge! A bit dated, could do with modernising, but very clean and comfortable. Lovely views over the Estuary. BBQ in the garden was used both nights, take some insect repellant! WIFI was free but unstable. Very narrow stairs leading to the... More

The views are as you see them, exceptional. Was surprised that the property was so dated, very basic. Sort of felt like we were in a time warp! Staff were lovely and decent value, however we were travelling in peak season so prices were much higher than normal.

Wow what you get for the price- prime location is unbeatable, the price is amazing for a beachside apartment that is roomy, has a kitchen and the beds are so comfortable. Having the beautiful sea breeze is refreshing and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend you to stay.

We stayed here for one night. Apartment is situated a short drive from main town which has a wide variety of shops. Our room overlooked the estuary and this was spectacular. Within a minute you can be walking along the sand and water. What let this apartment down was the general furnishings/fittings/decor which were somewhat old and outdated. The room... More

When you first arrive at Leisure Lee you'll probably think the same as us, and yes it's true, this is an old building but WOW WHAT A VIEW!!! This place is a gem! The uninterrupted view of the river inlet is just amazing and the sunsets unbeatable. Our unit was perfect for us and ticked all my main criteria -... More

Been staying in Ballina for a few months now (because of work). Rob and his wife are really friendly and helpful. Always booked in for apartment 3. You get the sunset from the main bedroom and sunrise from the living room. Totally love it! This place has kitchenware and basic cooking utensils, enabling me to cook and not eat out... More

On driving up to the apartments (they are set quite high of the road), I wasnt sure what to expect as the building looked rather old, however it was a little treasure. The young guy (I think the owner) was very nice and showed us to our studio unit as the place was booked out. The studio was on the... More
