We were lucky enough to get a powered site here over the Christmas break, close to the new amenities block, on very short notice. I checked out the website before we booked and it looked like heaven! A caravan park and camping ground as well as a meditation forest and Buddhist retreat, with an onsite cafe-it sounded like my kind... More

Hello Kat, thanks for your review, which I thought was actually very positive. I am sorry you were dispappointed abou the yoga, and yes it did start on 3 January as advertised and was outstanding. From 26 December to 3 January when you checked out we had 32 free events, which were published on our website, and our Facebook page... More

We were travelling through from Qld to Melbourne, so were looking for pet friendly accommodation. Booking over the phone was easy and the staff member was very friendly. We had a cabin with double bed and three bunks with linen for $160. Water is bore water, with rain water avail for drinking. The cabin we stayed in was older style... More

Thank you for your review, and I acknowledge that sand and a very busy tourism season has left us a little 'tattered' around the edges. My apologies if the cabin wasn't up to scratch. We don't have the down time during the very busy summer holidays to take cabins out of the rental pool for refurbishments as they are all... More

Definitely dog friendly - the owners helped make our and our puppy's holiday stress free @ relaxing. This was our first family surfing holiday and we used the cabin as our base... it was alway a pleasure to come back to the spacious and air-conditioned cabin each afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot fault the park, facilities, location and the outstanding customer service from the initial booking, arrival and departure. All staff members were incredibly hospitable, well informed and went the extra mile to ensure we had the best holiday experience. There was no shortage of regularly cleaned amenities and you couldn't beat the excellent home style camp kitchen with a... More

We booked in for 2 nights and stayed another night because we were having such a good time. Staff were friendly, amenities clean and plenty of room for the kids to play, including a cute little playground. We will definitely be visiting again on our next camping trip & hopefully we can stay longer! Highly recommend

Hello Lorraine and Andy, thank you for your review. Yes we have just opened a third amenities block for our guests, all very new. During peak periods we clean the facilities 4 times a day (and they do get a lot of traffic) so I am pleased that you found everything nice and clean. Look forward to having you back.... More

Rikki was a delight. I wasn't expecting luxury just some great R&R time, what we received was more than expected with wonderful hospitality from every team member, always delivered with a smile. The superior cabin was more than sufficient for my elderly mum and little dog. We all had a great time. The walk to the beach each morning works... More

Told to bring our own linen, but,in fact should have brought much more to make our holiday comfortable. We stayed in a cabin. Missing was kitchen essentials like breadboards, vegetable peeler, knife etc. Bare minimum plates, mugs and glasses so constant washing up for us. This place is run on a very tight budget and it shows..... Total freshening up required-toilet and shower amenity blocks... More

Hello Jane, thank you for your review. Clearly you weren't happy and I apologise if we didn't meet your expectations in anyway. We were holidaying in Byron Bay and decided to extend our holiday, so decided to search online and found the website for this park. We decided to book. This guest was fully informed prior to payment that the full amount would be taken from his card as it was a peak period booking, and that there would be no refunds after payment. This was also stated on his receipt. He personally came and inspected the site (which he had also been fully informed was still under construction and... More

We booked the superior cabins as we've stayed at other holiday parks & always been super happy with this level. However, on arrival I thought we'd actually been given the wrong cabin. They are simply NOT Superior, far from it: Tired Lino floors 2nd bedroom is in fact slotted into the wall, no privacy for our teenage girls Main bedroom... More

Thank you Mariah for your review. The truth is most people don't come here for the accommodation, they come for the experience! I agree that our accommodation is NOT Gold Coast 5 star as we discussed - and that the cost reflected the free festival with entertainment for kids and adults at this time of the year. We are a...
