Definitely dog friendly - the owners helped make our and our puppy's holiday stress free @ relaxing. This was our first family surfing holiday and we used the cabin as our base... it was alway a pleasure to come back to the spacious and air-conditioned cabin each afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot fault the park, facilities, location and the outstanding customer service from the initial booking, arrival and departure. All staff members were incredibly hospitable, well informed and went the extra mile to ensure we had the best holiday experience. There was no shortage of regularly cleaned amenities and you couldn't beat the excellent home style camp kitchen with a... More

We booked in for 2 nights and stayed another night because we were having such a good time. Staff were friendly, amenities clean and plenty of room for the kids to play, including a cute little playground. We will definitely be visiting again on our next camping trip & hopefully we can stay longer! Highly recommend

Hello Lorraine and Andy, thank you for your review. Yes we have just opened a third amenities block for our guests, all very new. During peak periods we clean the facilities 4 times a day (and they do get a lot of traffic) so I am pleased that you found everything nice and clean. Look forward to having you back.... More

Rikki was a delight. I wasn't expecting luxury just some great R&R time, what we received was more than expected with wonderful hospitality from every team member, always delivered with a smile. The superior cabin was more than sufficient for my elderly mum and little dog. We all had a great time. The walk to the beach each morning works... More

Told to bring our own linen, but,in fact should have brought much more to make our holiday comfortable. We stayed in a cabin. Missing was kitchen essentials like breadboards, vegetable peeler, knife etc. Bare minimum plates, mugs and glasses so constant washing up for us. This place is run on a very tight budget and it shows..... Total freshening up required-toilet and shower amenity blocks... More

Hello Jane, thank you for your review. Clearly you weren't happy and I apologise if we didn't meet your expectations in anyway. We have 3 amenities block, one completed in Dec 2014; the other is approximately 5 years old, and the original amenities which is solid but old fashioned. It is interesting to read your review and compare it to... More

We were holidaying in Byron Bay and decided to extend our holiday, so decided to search online and found the website for this park. We decided to book. Rang the park and spoke to Rikki all very nice and courteous, but after giving card details found out that full amount was taken out not just a deposit. Oh well. The... More

This guest was fully informed prior to payment that the full amount would be taken from his card as it was a peak period booking, and that there would be no refunds after payment. This was also stated on his receipt. He personally came and inspected the site (which he had also been fully informed was still under construction and... More

We booked the superior cabins as we've stayed at other holiday parks & always been super happy with this level. However, on arrival I thought we'd actually been given the wrong cabin. They are simply NOT Superior, far from it: Tired Lino floors 2nd bedroom is in fact slotted into the wall, no privacy for our teenage girls Main bedroom... More

Thank you Mariah for your review. The truth is most people don't come here for the accommodation, they come for the experience! I agree that our accommodation is NOT Gold Coast 5 star as we discussed - and that the cost reflected the free festival with entertainment for kids and adults at this time of the year. We are a... We purchased a special two night package and what amazing value. ( Scoop on ) We enjoyed the ferry trip and followed the directions supplied. Our cabin had a queen size bed with triple bunks in an alcove opposite the ensuite. The kitchen dining area was open plan with a two door small fridge, a divan, tv, microwave and a... More

I called at 11:30am on a Friday, got a booking for that day and we were there by 4:30pm. Very accommodating when everywhere else was booked out. Set in South Ballina, 35 min drive from Ballina town centre, 20 min from Wardell. Very secluded and peaceful down a small rural road in the middle of no where, just what we... More

Thank you so much for your great review! It is so well written. I see you are a senior reviewer on Trip Advisor - that takes dedication and a lot of travelling! Just to let you know there is a Dan Murphy's, Spar supermarket, tavern, bakery, newsagent, and Australian's biggest Bunnings 5kms away via the ferry (much closer than Wardell)... More
