What a terrific park. Staff so friendly and helpful from booking to check out. We stayed in a standard room that had a double bed and 4 bunk beds in a curtained off bunk room. Perfect for our young family of 5. Small table, microwave and 2 stove elements. No need for cooking as were recommended 2 dinner options. We... More

Absolutely gutted .. After staying at this park every time we pass through Ballina over the last 15 years, we were turned away today because the park would not take our dogs. They are both staffy crosses and both over the parks 10 kilo limit. What upset me most was that every year for 15 years we have come with... More

Dear Jennifer Thank you for your feedback. To clarify we have actually only been accepting dogs to stay since 2009. In addition, our records indicate you have stayed with us only twice in 10 years, in 2004 and 2011. Possibly you may have mistaken this park for another? Both of your dogs are breeds or breed mixes we cannot accept... More

Three of us girls had a cabin there during the Ballina women motorcyclist (babe Raid) gathering. The park is large but beautifully set out with lots of clean amenities. We had one of the smaller cabins which was OK for 3 women. Bathroom a little cramped but overall the cabin was clean and comfortable. We were assured the A/C was... More

This is an ideal place for families providing lots of activities to keep everyone happy . As this was my first experience with a big Family friendly park, I must admit I personally prefer the smaller quieter parks . This park is well placed on the waterfront of Shaws Bay . The dog owners area was a little restricted .However... More

Beautifully clean facilities and amenities. Water park and play room for children was the best we have seen so far on our travels along the coast. Stayed for 2 days and only issue we had was getting the children to leave! Highly recommended for families with children!

Stayed here in July 2014.... On week with many veteran golfers. We had a powered site. Clean and immaculate facilities. Site was a bit squeezy, but certainly adequate. Will recommend this park and will return next trip. Staff efficient and friendly.

we stayed here for one night only in an ensuite powered site, with our 4 legged children. The amenities are of a high standard and there is a animal bond. we were on the lake side of the park and it was very pleasant. There are plenty of activities within the park, I would recommend this place at any time.... More

1 caravan and the hire of one cabin kept the 4 of us busy. Lots to see in the North Coast. A very clean and well managed Park. Close to the beach, river and restaurants. Highly recommended. We will use again and again as we drive South to NSW then back up to Sunny Coast. A great place to stay.... More
