This is my second visit to Hume's Hovell and it confirmed what a wonderful place it is to stay. There is always such a warm welcome and Suzanne and Peter go out of their way to help you. Stayed 2 nights whilst touring from Sydney to Brisbane. It was a few minutes drive off the coastal route but made us realize just how much there was to see inland - we would have missed it otherwise. An excellent place to stay for peace and quiet, very, very comfortable. A bit out of the way, you need a car, but lovely setting well off the road amid the macadamia trees - it's on a macadamia nut plantation. Spent two nights here with our adult son as we wanted accommodation quite near Byron Bay. The hosts run a macademia nut farm.
