We stayed for one night to attend a funeral. The welcome was warm even though it was quite late into the evening. Room was clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was more comfortable than ours at home. Needed after an emotional day. Breakfast was delicious. We were offered the Full English, cooked to our requirements and cereal, fruit juice and... More

Very conveniently located for boatyards in Torpoint. Very welcoming host. Very clean and comfortable en-suite room on top floor. Allowed me to eat my takeaway evening meal in the lounge room and then excellent breakfast. No complaints at all! Convenient on-street parking right outside (could see my car from bedroom window!).

After a wonderful trip around Cornwall we threw a dart in the map and thought Torpoint might be a sensible stop on the way home. If I had done my homework I would have found out that Torpoint is about as picturesque an incomplete oeuvre by a half pissed Picasso. Poor old Plymouth took a kicking during the war we... More

Stayed at Cambridge House in order to attend a wedding at nearby Polhawn Fort (about 15 minutes' drive away). It is very close to the Torpoint Ferry and also convenient for HMS Raleigh. The rooms are very clean and comfortable as is the whole of the establishment. There is also plenty of street parking right outside. One minor gripe -... More

Stayed here for just one night with the family due to a relatives birthday party. We were accomodated with all out needs and the only place I have stayed where the breakfast is cooked in front of you. The building was light , clean well presented and excellent value. The owners were very proud of what they had built up... More

What a great place to stay. Milton greeted me at the door, carried my bag up to a lovely exceptionally clean room, talked me through the facilities and arranged my time for breakfast. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and cooked to order, delicious. Would recommend.

We stayed last week for 1 night. The reason for our stay - our son passing out from HMS Raleigh. Milton politely showed us to our room and gave great information regarding good pubs within walking distance. Breakfast was arranged for a time that suited us due to our early start. Room was small but perfectly serviceable and immaculately clean.... More
