Great rooms well furnished. Food excellent- loved the chips! Staff quiet but helpful and courteous. Stayed for my sons passing out parade at Raleigh and it's only a short ride there. Would stay again.

Recently visted the Carbeile with family for a carvery and was very impressed with the overall service and quality of the food served. Excellent range of items available, a choice of three meats with all the trimmings and very good value at £9 per adult. The staff were extremely hospitable and made us all feel very welcome. Would not hesitate... More

I stayed at the Carbeile Inn over a number of weekends during September and October. The experience was just fantastic! The hospitality of ALL the staff was second to none, so friendly and chatty. The food was OUTSTANDING and the portions were just HUGE! I STRONGLY recommend the Chicken and bacon caser salad! I thought I would have to be... More

Booked some family in here as was close to our home and looked nice from the outside. Service was poor, virtually ignored at the bar and made to feel like everything was too much trouble. Would not recommend this Inn and will definitely not book family or friends to stay there again.

We acknowledge your review and always thank customers for taking the trouble to comment even when we don't agree with it. However, we aren't aware of the issues that you raise in retrospect of your family's visit. Had, you raised any legitimate customer service issues at the time we would have been only too happy to rectify them. As you... More

We booked 3 rooms for my Son's Passing Out Parade. The location is a 2 minute drive from HMS Raleigh, so well situated. The rooms are comfortable and homely. The staff are very welcoming, curteous and always happy to help, or just to chat. The food was exceptional. We stayed two nights and ate in on both. The pub area... More

Have stayed on several occasions this year as it is so close to out Cornwall factory. Always made to feel welcome by the staff and regulars alike. The service is excellent and the food is of a very good standard. Made some very good friends in the process. Well recommended either for short or longer stays

I have used St Austell pubs for accomodation previously but this one was not up to their usual standards. Room was clean enough but very dated. Also the food was reasonable if a bit basic but on the up side the beer was good. All in all a very average experience.

We stayed here for my son's Navy passing out parade, it's very close to HMS Raleigh so ideal. The place is lovely, very nice pub and restaurant, fantastic selection of drinks and bar snacks, i've never seen so many! We had Dinner there which was lovely, we sat at a small table and when our meal was nearly ready they... More

Due to a family birthday locally I was advised to use the Carbeile Inn, Torpoint. My daughter and I booked the day before and was offered a room without any issues agreeing the cost and check in times for our stay. On our arrival we were greeted with a smile by a member of staff whom took the time to... More
