First of all, if you search for accommodation in Charlestown this doesn't appear as it's listed under St. Austell. I think the owners are missing a trick here; it should be listed in both (if possible). Stayed here in April 2015 for a 4 night break just when we had a spell of good weather. The room (Crow's Nest) was... More

Lunch on Easter Saturday. Pub is light and airy, wood floors, outside patio with tables. My fish came on a huge square plate which felt dirty underneath the rim. The crispy large batter was greasy and tasteless and did not have a lot of fish inside, which was disappointing considering the size of the batter. The dish came with a... More

Business trip booked at short notice. Stayed in 'Sail' room. Excellent facilities. Only downside is the size of the bathroom for a premium room. Mattress good, Evening food good value and breakfast spot on. Liked the place so returning in May for a leisure trip

Our group of four enjoyed a three-night stay at The Rashleigh Arms in the picturesque little harbour of Charlestown, near St Austell in Cornwall. The Rashleigh Arms began its life as a village pub in 1851, is well run by the hard-working and aptly-named Rob and Lucy Brewer and recently underwent a major refurbishment. The result is a well-appointed bar... More

We arrive to be greeted by a friendly receptionist who upgraded our room The room was warm, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious and practical. The additional touches , like bathrobes were well appreciated. The town it's self is stunning, well worth the visit for a romantic getaway.

On one of our regular visits to this area we stayed for the first time at the Rashleigh Arms. Two nights accommodation in the 'Crows Nest' situated on the first floor and above the bar area of this pub/hotel. We were well received and shown to our room and the facilities were fully explained to us.... times of breakfast etc.... More

Stayed here 4 years ago, a lot of changes in the Pub itself, which we personally did not like, but the food was good excellent bar staff and our room (PORT) was lovely, spacious clean and comfortable. Would stay again even with the changes in décor.

I stayed here on business with two colleagues. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. My room the "Crows Nest" was a nice sized double with a very comfortable bed. The food and breakfast were also excellent with an individual touch. I will definitely stay here again!!!!

We have just had a fantastic & most relaxing stay here with glorious locally sourced food in a picturesque location. The quality was considerably better than a lot of hotels we have stayed in and the winter rate made for a very affordable break. Find an excuse to visit & stay - you won't regret it!

I usually come to this part of Cornwall with work so decided to come for a small break as Charlestown is a lovely part of the world with stunning views over the harbour. Usually we stop at the Pierhouse but because of the extortionate prices we decided to stop at the Rashleigh instead. On arrival we were greeted by a... More
