Stayed at this B&B 4 times over the years whilst visiting the Eden Project. We love the laid back feel and the welcome from Jackie is second to none. We have stayed in both the Red Room and the Green Room, and both are really comfortable rooms. Good beds and showers. Breakfast is excellent and well cooked with plenty to... More

We stayed at Gwyndra retreat which is a self contained cottage in the grounds of the b+b .This is a well appointed cottage which lives up to its description has a holiday cottage. What is not described is that it is only yards away from the main railway line(Penzance/London) and large loud trains are running from 5-00am till 11-00pm+ freight... More

We couldn't believe how close to the train station this guest house is. Ideal for the Eden project, heligan gardens, Looe or heading further into Cornwall by rail or car. We had a very warm welcome, good advice where to go, lovely breakfast and very comfortable bed and room. Highly recommended.

I chose Gwyndra when my family were visiting as it's conveniently located practically across the road from the train/bus station. It's also a short walk to the town centre. Jackie was very friendly and hospitable, with recommendations for restaurants, and she made our stay very comfortable. Plentiful breakfasts and lovely rooms -- they were comfortable, clean and above all warm... More

We stayed at Gwyndra in September 2013 as part of a three night stay in St Austell to explore the surrounding area. Our warm welcome from Jackie really set the tone as we were plied with a well needed cup of tea and given a huge amount of helpful information on the local area including a great walk (which we... Gwyndra House, St Austell Heading from Cornwall to London, we stopped over at St Austell, a very convenient place from which to visit the Eden Project. Gwyndra House B&B is just 200 m from the railway station as well as from the bus stop (outside the station) on the route to the Eden Project. The B&B was perfect with clean,... More

Spent 4 days here with Jackie and were very comfortable ....a large bedroom with everything you could require. Marvellous breakfast which Jakie made to order exactly cooked the way we asked. The porridge is a Must ! Jackie is also a flint of knowledge about the local area and places to visit

A good caring bed and breakfast. Jackie, the owner could not be more helpful, and we had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and antique furniture topped with glass tops adorned the room. The bathroom in our room was on the smallish size, the door hitting the toilet when open. Bed was very comfy, but not a king size... More
