We stayed at Gwyndra in September 2013 as part of a three night stay in St Austell to explore the surrounding area. Our warm welcome from Jackie really set the tone as we were plied with a well needed cup of tea and given a huge amount of helpful information on the local area including a great walk (which we... Gwyndra House, St Austell Heading from Cornwall to London, we stopped over at St Austell, a very convenient place from which to visit the Eden Project. Gwyndra House B&B is just 200 m from the railway station as well as from the bus stop (outside the station) on the route to the Eden Project. The B&B was perfect with clean,... More

Spent 4 days here with Jackie and were very comfortable ....a large bedroom with everything you could require. Marvellous breakfast which Jakie made to order exactly cooked the way we asked. The porridge is a Must ! Jackie is also a flint of knowledge about the local area and places to visit

A good caring bed and breakfast. Jackie, the owner could not be more helpful, and we had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and antique furniture topped with glass tops adorned the room. The bathroom in our room was on the smallish size, the door hitting the toilet when open. Bed was very comfy, but not a king size... More

Had a lovely week at this B&B. Yellow room was really nice with comfy bed and spacious ensuite (shower). Breakfasts were very good. Jackie's porridge is excellent. She is a very helpful, friendly landlady, knows the area well and gave good advice about bus and rail times to popular local venues. Gwyndra House is in a good location to visit... More

This is charming 1930's house, tastefully renovated to create a homely, spacious B and B. The room was very large and comfortable, with a king size bed and 2 comfy armchairs. The furniture was antique and in keeping with the house. The bathroom was fine, with nice touches - toiletries etc. and powerful shower. The host was very helpful and... More

Fantastic B&B & hosts. Breakfast is superb, rooms are lovely & clean and nothing is too much trouble for them. Must say the Red Room bed is the best I have ever slept in, and the porridge is to die for. Would recommend this to anyone, its central and handy for the town too... +++
