The White Hart Hotel is centrally placed and is the lead hotel in the St Austell Brewery chain. It has recently undergone a substantial refit so that the common areas are to a high standard and reflect current tastes. Bed rooms and corridors, etc, are also undergoing upgrades. The staff are most helpful. The breakfast choice is large and the... More

Got a groupon for this hotel, as fancied a couple of days away in Cornwall. Nice place, with hotel barrier parking 200 yards from the hotel itself. Cant fault the place, the only downside bring the chavvy undesirable that they served at the bar, who then fell off his chair (backwards) in the hotel lounge amoungst the guest's and had... More

Love this place!! Our second stay here and it was just as fab as our first! I really can't fault The White Hart, the staff are attentive and really friendly, the place is clean, tidy and comfortable. We were given the same room as we had before, ,Tin Pit Meadow, which we were really pleased with, a comfy room with... More

hotel is lovely, it has a great atmosphere and our room was beautiful. we were the first couple to have stayed in the room since refurbishment and it didn't disappoint! VERY clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, the only small thing i would pick out is that i was quite cold during the night but another duvet was provided... More

Lovely hotel. We got a free upgrade to a larger room which was huge! Very pleasant room, perhaps a tad dated but then you can't expect hotels to decorate every year so it was fine. Bathroom a little tired but clean and perfectly adequate. The restaurant was phenomenal! The waiter simply couldn't do enough for us, the food was absolutely... More

What a fabulous hotel, rooms where a little dated but clean and bed was comfy. The location was ideal. The food in this hotel was outstanding and the I couldn't rate the staff and service enough. Will definitely be retuning to this hotel again. If I had to say one negative thing it would be that at times the hotel... More

Fab little hotel in St Austell town centre. Stayed on a Sunday night pre Monday business meeting and glad we chose this as opposed to a Premier Inn, not that I've got anything against Premier Inns. Stayed in Parnall room which was spacious with a fab en suite. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The staff were friendly and very... More

Visited for breakfast whilst touring in Cornwall, opted for the full English. The waiter who serviced us was exceptional friendly, efficient and enhanced our overall experience. The food was prepared to a very high standard and was very good value for money. Will definitely return when next visiting Cornwall.

Our stay was very welcoming and comfy. We booked the premier rooms, and were lucky enough to have a new bathroom in our room. Big shower funky mirrors. Service was attentive and food was very good. We had a meal on the first night which was very tasty and Richard our waiter was a real gent and witty. Breakfast was... More

An excellent hotel, check in first class and very helpful, felt really welcome. Room, a single, was very good. Staff helpful, St Austell beer but no HSD unfortunately. Centre of town and convenient for station and buses. Near Eden Project and Lost Garden of Heligan. Didn't use restaurant, but bar food good. Will certainly return in future.
