This B&B really lives up to all of the good words written on here. Sue & Dave Allen are perfect hosts, extremely friendly and welcoming. The whole place is meticulously clean, and the lawn mown in perfect regimented stripes. Special mention is certainly deserving of the breakfasts though. Huge and delicious are the best two words to describe it. If... more

Stayed for 2 nights and found Sue and Dave Allen to be really great hosts. The place was clean and tidy, with a warm welcome upon arrival. Friendly advise on places to go and visit/eat etc. Dedicated towards providing a nice relaxing stay and the breakfasts are lovely! Would stay there again without hesitation. Simon and Janice. more

We arrived to a very warm and friendly reception, tea and scones appeared within minutes, great! knew we were off to a good start. Our room although compact was really cosy, cleanliness could not be faulted. The full jar of coffee and tea was very welcome far better than sachets,we also had fruit basket , a nice touch. Sue makes... more

Allen's B&B is located on a street of B&Bs. Look for the highest sign and you're there. Turn into the narrow drive to the ample off-street parking. You will be greeted by Sue (and Dave in our case) with a friendly and enthusiastic welcome promptly followed by a pot of tea, scones, cream and jam. The rooms are annexed from... more

I rarely write reviews but we wanted to share with others how much we enjoyed our stay with Sue and Dave. Food and cleanliness were excellent as other reviews have mentioned. Fresh fruit, clean towels and wow breakfasts but what made it special was the warm welcome we received. Sue is committed to making your stay comfortable and enjoyable and... more

My family and I toured the south coast for a couple of weeks in April 2009. While we were very satisfied everywhere we were overwhelmed with the friendlyness, cleanlieness and fantastic breakfast provided by Sue & Dave Allen. We, four persons, stayed for four nights and it could not have been more friendly. We celebrated two birthdays while there and... more

A really well run little enterprise. Very friendly people, even gave us a lift back from the pub when I sprained my ankle! Very competent; when I spilt a glass of red wine, I called Sue straight away, (in a blind panic!) there were no recriminations or telling offs, just straight into action with the cleaner, drama averted. The breakfast... more

A fabulous place to stay. Attentive hosts, fantastic breakfasts. Scrupulously clean room and en suite. Everything has been carefully thought out....fruit in room daily, bottled water provided and bliss - clean, dry towels every day. Easy to get to and from. Gorgeous gardens and beaches nearby. Some great places to eat locally and within a few minutes drive. We arrived... more

I really felt the need to review this B&B after reading the reviews on here as I wholeheartedly agree with all of them, apart from one! ;) I could not have had a more pleasant stay and certainly did not find my hosts aggressive in any way, shape or form! Unless you feel that being fed lovely breakfasts, being given... more
