Staff were all amazing ..waiters out of this world was upgraded to so lovely sea view room. Food was lovely and breakfast was amazing. Eyes bigger than my belly and when I ordered fish of the day for breakfast. Was surprised to get a lovely piece of perfectly cooked salmon. Loved it. Spa was lovely and my partner had a... More

A most comfortable and homely hotel, with friendly, well-trained and attentive staff. The room we have had on each of our last 3 visits was most comfortable and well appointed. The dining room is comfortable, bu depending on the table allocation can be either too close or cooped-up behind screens. Food in the main dining room is good, but predictable:... More

The accommodation was very overpriced, we had a small room that was smaller than some rooms you would expect in London. Restaurant was very good. Bar could do with more staff as waited for bar food and drinks for an hour

We stayed here last year and paid for a superior room with access to a balcony which was shared with several other rooms, lovely views over Carlyon Bay and the manicured lawns of the hotel. The hotel room was however rather underwhelming for the enormous £300 per night price tag. Quite small but nice and bright with large windows overlooking... More

Overall, we enjoyed our stay over Easter, subject to the caveats below. We are long-standing clients of the hotel, love the location, and have never had a disastrous experience, but then one shouldn't, for the prices charged! The rooms were all spotless and the food pretty good, though the wine list is tired and in need of upgrade (if u... More

We have just returned from a stay at the Carylon Bay for Easter weekend. The hotel staff made our weekend! Which I think is a rarity, especially in English hotels. All were not only helpful beyond the call of duty (they hired us a pram on arrival as we forgot ours, and pushed the check in so our toddler could... More

The hotel room was no way near worth the money paid. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this room was average, although the cost was well above. The taste restaurant was lovely. The hotel was extremely noisy. We complained twice although nothing improved. Children running up and down the corridors and inconsiderate people. The spa was very... More

We arrived at about 4pm and we're looking for assistance with our luggage. As no door man was around we eventually lugged our bags in ourselves. My wife parked our car while I checked in. Check in was efficient and they had clocked my request for an extra bed in the room for my daughter. Assistance with bags to the... More

A clean and well organised hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very impressed by the helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. We found the spa and treatments very relaxing. There was an embarrassing incident in the spa when a member of reception staff came in and ticked off one of the girls for not answering the phone.... More

A very clean and friendly hotel. Spa treatments were lovely although the relaxation areas could be improved. Beautiful gardens, excellent golf course and stunning views. Dinner was ok but not excellent and expensive for the quality however breakfast was great.
