My partner and I stayed at Karmary for one night with our 19month old son. On arriving we received a warm welcome from Bill. We had an en-suit room with a powerful shower! I wish mine at home was that good! The room was clean, tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets. TV/DVD player. I didn't realise we had booked a room... More

We arrived at Karmary Guest House and received the warmest of welcomes from the owners, Bill and Sue, making us feel at home instantly. The en suite room which we stayed in was well maintained, very clean and a decent size. The beds were really comfortable and I slept soundly, which is great as I struggle to sleep away from... More

I choose this place because the most recent reviews were 5 stars and price of the room was very competitive, however I can’t see how they are justified. The décor was very dated and work and looked like that it was last updated in the 80’s, with the breakfast being just average. I have stayed in lots of hotels and... More

stayed in the four poster room with balcony. The en-suite shower room was clean and plenty big enough with a powerful water flow. Clean towels laid on. Tea and coffee provided and a tv/dvd to keep you entertained. The bed had the thickest warmest quilt on, I have ever come across. Bill and Sue made us so very welcome and... More

I'd love to give a terrible review, but that would only be to make sure there's room here the next time I want to come and stay! A really lovely B&B - Bill and Sue gave me a very warm welcome. Only stayed for one night while visiting the St Austell Beer festival (5 minutes round the corner) Room had... More

Very welcoming lovely couple that run the guest house, comfy beds, clean room, great breakfast, great location and very understanding when my 4 year old daughter had a big paddy! Will definitely be visiting again. Emily, Neil and Charlotte from macclesfield.

Just back from a lovely bank holiday weekend break at St.Austell. We picked this lovely guest house as the facilities looked good and the reviews were positive and it looked like value for money! We were not disappointed!!! Good location close to town centre and only 10 mins from the sea! The owners take pride in the service they offer... More

I only stayed for one night (tacked on to the rest of the week) but Sue and Bill gave me a very warm welcome. I had the four-poster room which was delightful - very clean and nicely decorated. It had a lovely little balcony with a table and two chairs. The en-suite shower room was very good and the shower... More
