Very nice hotel set in lovley grounds five hundred yards from St Austell town centre.the staff are very friendly albeit most are very young and sometimes lack in experience, We found the reception staff a bit cold though which is a shame as they are supposed to be the face of the hotel. If you want a quiet relaxing break do... I stayed at this hotel last weekend. The weather was perfect and drinking reasonably priced Pimms on the terrace was fab! The room was comfortable, breakfast and dinner (both vegetarian) were lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I would also recommend Tiffany the beauty therapist - the massage was outstanding!

The place is beautifully set out and the pool and gym excellent However this has the feel of a new hotel that hasnt quite managed to complete the little extras or the finishing touches Food was good bar food but not haute cuisine and staring at the chip fryer not ideal and definitely overpriced waitresses were delightfully helpful however For... Relaxing weekend away with the family nice cottage, comfortable and comfortable and clean Good lounge area and nice little welcome pack including popcorn Good beds and good kitchen making a lovely stay Fridge had the milk door shelf missing. Downside was that immediately you drive in you can't fail to notice the shabby bright red plastic motorway style plastic barriers... More

A late change of plan found us pampering ourselves here for a couple of nights, we booked the Hotel and Gardens break, which comes with tickets to the Heligan Gardens and Eden Project. The room we had was an excellent size, with plenty of storage and a comfy bed, our balcony over-looked the main building, restaurant and front lawn. The... More

I thought there rooms were brilliant all had a private balcony and when the weather is good it's an amazing place to relax. The spa was okay but all treatments were fully booked for the weekend so it may be worth booking ahead we had a discount in our package for the spa so unfortunately missed out on this. We... More

The hotel itself is very nice, room was large with a nice balcony and view...a few niggles,no air con, dirty water stains on ceiling, couldn't use bath as plug didn't fit!! the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, espiecially at breakfast, and a wonderful swimming pool and spa with outdoor sun loungers. The downside was the so called fine dining restaurant,from... More

Hotel was perfect for weekend and central to where we wanted to visit. Breakfasts were good and my partner enjoyed the spa. Bar prices were abit pricey and also poor parking with quite a hike if you forgot anything. Also no air conditioning just a trusty old fan so bit warm in summer months like now.

Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for lovely break away from our busy lives and 2 children in Manchester. We were absolutely delighted by every aspect of the hotel and spa. All the staff in both including the restaurant were so eager to please and the service was amazing, especially Sven who catered to our every need and... More

We loved our stay in this hotel so much so that we extended it ....coming all the way from London, it seemed a terrible waste of a long journey if we were to have a short stay as originally planned....The White House is an old building with all the mod-cons. There are modern but much smaller rooms in the new... More
