Just back from a three night stay at the lovely Mountview. Kim made us very welcome and I just loved this 1930 property with lots of original features . It's spotlessly clean, smashing en-suite, comfy bed and nice breakfast. Ideally located for the Eden Project. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Oh and ladies no need to take... More

Spent a wonderful 3 night stay with Kim at the Mount View when my family attended my son's wedding. The accommodation was excellent, Kim made us very welcome. The breakfast selection was good and was cooked to a high standard, well worth a visit.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Kim made us feel welcome and showed interest in our plans. She cooked breakfast superbly. Value for money and not too far from town and other places to visit. Liked the soft music in the breakfast room.

The accommodation was easy to find. Parking was up a slope and there are a few steps to contend with to the entrance. However all was worthwhile when we were welcomed with a smiling Kim who made us feel that our comfort and needs were her top priority. We had the twin room at the side of the house which overlooked... Must say excellent value for money lovelly room , we have just stayed and it was cold out but lovelly and warm inside (November 2013) The breakfast was perfectly cooked by the perfect host and the coal effect fire was already on and warm before we ate. All in all first class and we will DEFINATELY stay again when we... More

Run by the lovely Kim, who is always happy to point you in the right direction and chat about your plans or experiences, this is a nice little place. A little tough to turn into from the main road, or maneuver out of, but not difficult to find. The only downfalls are the old-style lock on the door which was... More

Kim, the proprietor, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast anything from full English to whatever you need with ample choice. We used this as a base - Eden Project very close, Lost Gardens of Heligan even closer. St Austell town centre 400 yards up a hill, but this is Cornwall! Rooms clean and tidy. We recommend and would return. Thank you... More

This is a great place to stay in Cornwall. It has easy access to many places of interest, and is very good value for money. The breakfast is excellent, our room was very comfortable and the bed and breakfast has a nice atmosphere. Kim, the owner, is really lovely :) Definitely recommended!

Arrived Good Friday staying for 3 nights in the caerhays room (twin room). Greeted by Kim the owner who was very friendly. The room was fairly clean however twin beds not that comfortable and very springy and worn however, didn't affect our stay. Breakfast cooked fresh, choice of full English and cereals (perhaps could have been more on plate). Kim... More
