Lowarth Gwyth is a very pretty, comfortable and clean B&B, fantastically located if you are in the area to visit the numerous attractions of Cornwall. We have just enjoyed our second stay with Ann and Bill who were once again perfect hosts. Bill cooks up an excellent English breakfast which my partner always devours, and they were very willing to... More

It looked good on its website, but. Difficult steps from car park to garden. Had to force our way through over-grown bushes to door. Breakfast was cold and poor with stale, soft cereals. Poor lighting on stairs. Shower broken then failed completely. We all left a day early, very sad.

Characterful B&B in a good location, short drive to the Eden project and the Lost gardens of Heligan. You can walk into town (10 mins) where there are numerous restaurants, cinema, coffee shops etc. What really makes this place for me is the warm and generous nature of hosts Annie and Bill. They made me feel very welcome and one... More

We stayed with Annie for two nights as part of a Lands End to John O Groats cycle run. She was most accommodating in every possible way, offering to dry wet clothes and store bikes if needed. Annie is a friendly and caring person who welcomed us into her home like friends and took a great interest in us and... More

This is a good value, small B&B within walking distance of St Austell's town centre. The front of the house is on a busy road, but the house is well set back and my own room faced the back so was perfectly quiet. The rooms are clean and homely, and I had sole use of a large bathroom a few... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while touring Cornwall. the location is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of St Austell so we were able to walk into town for our evening meals. The hostess was very friendly, with a cup of tea on arrival and had many helpful suggestions to help us enjoy our time in the... More
